It’s extremely reductive, you take one statement from some and boil them down to a racist full out cause of a lyric in a song or a tweet from years ago.

Not defending the actual racists tho, there are multiple artists in the list who have exposed themselves to be that on a wider scale but still, one slur in a song or tweet from years ago is correlated with people who actively use those words/lyrics or actually harbor those feelings.
