.
”This thread seeks to shed light on an ongoing issue where Americans on Twitter”
Twitter is not a real place.
And that's word to Dave Chappelle
for a min thought title said tyga and was confused about the 17 pages
Tyga's mom is actually Vietnamese, so he's relevant to this discussion too
Not in all those places trust not in all, she could go to the middle east and a lot of parts in Asia and be considered one them. Also in alot of parts of Europe too.
Not with her lookin like this
Y'all definitely didn't eat good yesterday if y'all got this much energy to argue.
Doja Cat is into foot fetish race play and hates Black people so she not the best example to be fair
“In the Western Cape, a distinctive Cape Coloured and affiliated Cape Malay culture developed. Genetic studies suggest the group has the highest levels of mixed ancestry in the world. Mitochondrial DNA studies have demonstrated that many maternal lines of the Cape Coloured population are descended from African Khoisan women and Xhosa women. In other parts of Southern Africa, people classified as Coloured were usually the descendants of individuals from two distinct ethnicities.”
she will be called but she isn't black and she has been clarifying this, but ppl are taking as if she's antiblack for not saying she's black when she isn't, this will definitely be a lesson to let ppl know that racial classification is different globally and that the rest of the world doesn't follow the one drop rule.
When she fills out a form in American and it asks for her race, she will fill in "black". South African is her ethnicity but she is clearly black
Y'all definitely didn't eat good yesterday if y'all got this much energy to argue.
What a weird discourse
The only person that should be concerned about this is her
I understand that but phrase or not we definitely use different identifiers out here that they probably don’t use out there, for obvious reasons.
What does a SA census look like? I’m curious lol
Black/African, white, coloured, maybe Indian sometimes are our "official" races
@op this is a pointless battle. Even black people within our own country see coloured people as "anti-black" when they want their identity as a coloured to be recognized. We saw it a few years ago on Twitter when people were trying to say "Coloured culture doesn't exist". Seen some people say coloured people shouldn't be able to say nigga too. If our own people don't even understand, how can we expect Americans and Europeans to?
