I think its a combination of his consistent bad music, and morality. I think morality also matters in the sense that he'll have less ppl vouching for him in 20 years.
I went from being a diehard, ride or die, from 2005-2022, to no longer listening to him at all. And know of plenty of old head communities, and black communities who refuse to support him.

And also matters in that he's going to have less younger generations getting into his music. The ppl listening to him now are ppl who grew up with pre Nazi era Ye, which is relatively new.

A 18 year old 20 years from now is less likely to become a Kanye stan, or even give his music a try when even his Wikipedia Intro refers to him as a "Self Proclaimed Nazi, and praises Hitler".
I genuinely think his fanbase and supporters will dwindle overtime, unless he makes a complete 180 in his beliefs

We're in a Tyler the Creator thread, the guy who made songs about raping pregnant women, and I can assure you he will be remembered for Earfquake and See You Again over that.

People don't care that much, hell f***ing Carnival went #1 of all songs, the one that was arguably the most inflammatory off that album.
I see people posting insta stories with Graduation songs daily, it doesn't affect anything even now for most people cause they simply don't care.

Ozzy Osbourne tried to kill his wife, all these white rockstars were f***ing underage groupies but people don't care about any of that years later.
People won't care about any of his activities while listening to MBDTF or Graduation decades from now.

The Nazi stuff started in October 2022 and his streaming numbers have only gotten stronger since then. Make of that what you will, but this notion that him going off the deep end is going to retroactively make people look at his work in a different light with the passage of time is just straight up untrue

When people introduce their children and grandchildren to hip-hop in 30-40 years, best believe they will be showing them Kanye music years before they ever get to a Tyler, the Creator song

MAGA and Anti-Black movement started in 2018. As said above. If Nazi/MAGA Ye continues, in 20 years he will have been known as Nazi Ye much longer than than the era that he was respected at that point.

The ppl still listening to him now are nostalgic Kanye fans. Agajn, I think y’all are underestimating the lack of of respect he will have a person and musician if the overwhelming majority of his career his brand has been entire brand has Nazi, Swastikas, or and supporting racism lol.

Unlike the ppl you listed, Kanye has made Nazism and MAGA a massive part of his brand. It’s not just something that exists outside. It’s not something that’s separated from the art. He releases music promoting Nazism. He sell White Supremacy and Nazi Merch.
I can’t stress enough that “Nazi”, and “Holocaust Denier” is part of his Wikipedia intro these days

Even Musically, Kanye’s classic albums arent THAT strong that they’d disregard the potential and likely possibility of him having a higher ratio of bad albums lol.

Should that happen, “his early albums were good, but after that his music took nose dive” will be the best case scenario discussion on his discography 20 years from now lol
