    Cancel culture doesn’t exist

“Cancel culture” is just a buzz phrase used by people that don’t want to be held accountable for their racism or sexism or homophobia or transphobia.

They rather blame “cancel culture!!!!!” instead of addressing them f***ed up s*** they’ve said or done

Instead of changing their hateful ways, they ignore it

People that fw with cancel culture can never tell you why they're doing it other than some bullshit about "accountabiliy"

Like how do you want them to be accountable

Nothing they do will help people will just find a new thing to complain about

Nigga needs to work on himself and his deep rooted insecurities before speaking on others imo

Ironically the exact same can be said about those who try and “cancel” ppl

  • tyler plays the “I don’t care” attitude really well but you can tell the khaled & nast comments still bugging him till this day, absolute cornball

I disagree. People don't care about multiple things at once at all. What I got from Tyler's s*** is that people want to cancel s*** when they really don't care they just want a sense of power. I wish people would want to stop real life injustice. Not da baby saying homophobic s*** on stage. I wish people used there power for more important things then stopping a black dude from getting festivals. I promise you. It does not matter. The gay niggas around me including myself aren't pressed if da baby like us or not.

I can say objectively this isn’t true considering the fact I care about the safety and lives of my gay peers, as well as caring about the safety and lives of my black brothers and black sisters & other POC and marginalized groups. I care about this current inflation ruining lives outside of mine and countless people being homeless. I care about workers not being compensated properly, etc. You can’t generalize something like that or make a claim for other people that they don’t care about multiple things.

Tyler’s point again was specifically in the context of people trying to cancel people for mistakes they made years or decades ago as if growth doesn’t exist. Most rational people agree it’s ridiculous and most self aware people know it’s usually projection from people who want to be seen as wholesome or “good people” but I digress.

Again. DaBaby has a platform, his platform was used spreading a false narrative people have been trying to kill. People who think like him will use people like him on a platform to justify their bigotry and hatred. Boosie again is literally the perfect example of this threatening violence on Lil Nas X unprovoked.

I don’t know where you’re coming with this logic people don’t care about this and other things too.

    Priorities, you f***ing buffoon. PRIORITIES.

The fact that a celebrity is a racist or homophobic shouldn’t be given that much attention. It shouldn’t be important. Oh that singer said some hateful s***? F*** him, now let’s talk about the growing debt of the incoming mortgage crisis manufactured by BlackRock because that is going to change our lives. Our material conditions are way more important than some spectacular controversy.

Everyone was talking about DaBaby for the past few weeks. Do you think these people are aware of what’s going on in the world? Do you think the f***ing virtue signaling comments on Twitter and Instagram made a difference? It’s theatrical. It’s a s*** show. It gives you a false sense of importance while real s*** is happening before our eyes.

You’re trying to tell me that people can be aware of different problems, like “yeah I mad about DaBaby but I’m also mad about whatever s*** is going on in the world” but that’s wrong. People only care about manufactured spectacular controversies. They care about what’s trending. And DaBaby was trending because of that.

yeah this is basically it. Priorities

    THIS

Talk about the Classism going on, talk about the violence going on, talk about how the governments are lying to us about basically everything and the rich are getting incredibly much richer while the middle class is disappearing, talk about how so much land and single family homes are being bought up by massive corporations. Nah they gone keep you stupid and have everyone mad about some comments the dababy half jokingly said on stage. Moronic society.

How is DaBaby important? How is this whole made up controversy important? How is it more important than billionaires getting richer while poor people are getting poorer? How is it more important than the fact that Biden bombed Somalia a few days ago? Is it more important than the fact that immigrant kids are still locked up in cages?

Nobody should give a f***. DaBaby shouldn’t be relevant.

    Real bro

People care more about what an idiot said during a live show than about economy, politics and the fact that pretty much every single aspect of our lives is getting worse. And you’re all okay with that. Like this s*** became normalized.

100%. Media controversies are given way too much attention and treated as if they have so much real power. Our material circumstances and the institutions that concoct norms inform our culture and perspective on the world infinitely more than whatever comes out of some rappers mouth.

    Why are you so stupid?

You can do more than one thing at a time. Do you think we should just ignore someone being blatantly racist as well just because the government sucks? If Taylor Swift got on stage today and say the n word should everyone just ignore it and say it’s irrelevant because kids are in cages and cops haven’t been defunded yet? You don’t think that leads to further discrimination by simply normalizing it acting like it doesn’t matter?

Is this the mentality you want to carry? Do you think you’re making a point with this stupid ass post?

All discrimination should be called out simple. I refuse to believe anyone with a brain can’t understand this.

C’mon the guy who writes the manga in your avy is best friends with a pedophile and did positive promotion for him and a glowing interview after the fact was revealed. Where’s all the energy you putting on him over that?
