There’s a reason why the Kendrick and Drake beef was such a big deal.
Those are 2 rappers who really do this rap s***, and they became rap titans . And they are a last of a dying breed

There is no one in this new generation who could have good rap beef, and it’s because they don’t give af about actually being a great rapper

I dont think TLOP has "no cohesion" though I think the problem with TLOP is that it precipitated kanye genuinely losing his focus and mind so people just lump it in with the lazy bullshit we got after it

im saying that it was mostly intentional on TLOP but became actual laziness on the projects that came afterwards

I do think that tlop was the first sign that he was losing it though and it couldve been tighter/more focused

but only one song the average person can name + one song that was carrying all of its streams past a certain point. and its not like that one song was a travis solo cut

maybe throw cant say in there as a cult favorite that helped blow don toliver up

There’s a kernel of objective truth in there about how artists are marketed to us, and how the vocal part of rap media/social media will mostly play along and act fake-surprised when it turns out that, say, a Bossman DLow strictly puts out songs that sound 99% similar to Get In With Me. Nothing wrong with that – just like a meme, if you like the format once then it’s probably gonna still hit for you when it pops up again

The idea that they’re taking up potential space that Tyler could be using is laughable though
