Yeah my first job at 16 which was at McDonald’s and another job as a stocker at a grocery store. Just was not worth it, my time was more valuable then their pay

I forget what I was even trying to sell door-to-door but it was prohibited in the one neighborhood we went to on my first day and I got put in the back of a cop car two hours into the new job lmao

came in and found out we only got paid for filming practice, which was like 2 hours a week for like $12/hr mfs expected me to be there 6 am too. i sent my manager a text the morning i was supposed to show up saying "yea im good fr" and blocked her number

I almost did on my first ever job, i was a labourer setting up large scale tents and marquees for big events. The job was mostly heavy lifting and the weather was 42C (108f for you dumbasses) plus i started to get a migraine mid day. I strongly thought of quitting cos it was such a hard day, turns out it was probably just a very bad combo of tough conditions and i was all a lot easer from then on.
