I swear to God if there’s any footage of a drone that you use to mark enemies before infiltrating a base gameplay…

It does look interesting, but since Ubisoft is developing and publishing the game we’re all just skeptical, lol.

  • Ubisoft Connect only?

I'll buy it when it's $20 on Steam

Because Ubisoft have homogenized all of their open world titles to such a degree that’s it neigh impossible to imagine this not just being Far Cry in Star Wars face paint.

It’s all base infiltration now. You get some kind of flying drone/bird that you use to scope out an open box base, mark targets, and then jump in and usually use the same tactics you use for every other base you’ve infiltrated up until that point.

And by halfway through you usually become so ridiculously OP that it feels like you’ve broken the game.

Around the moment you unlock the ability in the inevitable skill tree that lets you stealth kill 2-3 targets in a single move. Then you just rinse and repeat that one move for the rest of the game.

Funny enough, it’s the last 90+ game they’ve released.

What will make this game truly worth it is if the locations are so beautiful and detailed you forgo the ubisoftisms just to be in the world

  • Jun 12, 2024

and i’m pretty sure that’s what everyone is betting on, the star wars s*** makes the ubisoft s*** less boring

I think having good feeling mechanics could do a lot for them, but their open world games never really ever feel top of the line.
