Because the most popular religions (which are the Abrahamic religions) don't speak on aliens at all. It would raise a lot of questions especially if these beings are way more advanced than us.

The 2023 defense bill has UAP whistleblower language providing protection for those who worked on UFO legacy crash retrieval programs.

Some are expected to testify to Congress next year once this bill passes.

it’s like s***ting on a religious text for leaving out the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs, that’s not really what they set out to do, if God is divinely revealing things to people to codify it into a text, i seriously don’t see what the point would be in mentioning other beings

if the aliens are conscious and rational beings on a human level (which seems to be what people are praying up and down for, for whatever weird reason) that means they would most likely have some form of notion of good and evil, a sense of moral compass etc. (and it may or may not look diff from ours, who knows) this means that they would be liable to sin as well, and they would fall under Jesus’ salvation if they were to accept him as their savior

Honestly I'm not in the mood to debate religion and it's a pointless debate anyway. If aliens appeared before us, religious people would either call them demons or modify the text to add them in (as they've done for 100s of years)
