First Iran intentionally warns Iraq knowing full well that they’re going to warn the U.S. about their missile strike 6 hours in advance. Which means they clearly don’t want war just wanted to show their people that they won’t “back down”

Then, they accidentally shoot down a plane. That’s just embarrassing. I don’t blame them for denying it. I wouldn’t be surprised if some idiot shot it by mistake thinking it was an American or Iraqi aircraft. It’s not like their military is as organized as ours.

I'm not against Russia supporting the Syrian govt at their requesr (unlike the US who is there illegally and has funded jihadists to overthrow Assad), but the civilian casualties are never a good thing of course.

And the annexation of the Crimea was done in response to the US-backed coup in Ukraine which threatened Russia to have its most important port being taken over by NATO. Am I for it? No. But pretending like it came out of nowhere and Putin just woke up one day thinking hey let's take the Crimea is extremely dishonest.

The USA shouldn't take the police role in the world. Just like Russia and China shouldn't. They should do it all together in the UN, but the UN doesn't work properly cause of the weak mandate and the veto rights of the big countries. Also, all those countries mostly in that region solely for the oil. And we all dont say s*** bout the human rights and regimes in these countries cause we're too afraid to lose that.
