It was pretty good, I’d say Blade Runner 2049 was the best movie I saw over the decade
I loved it & still watch clips of it even now, but how you gon say that when Blade Runner 2049 was released in that mf decade
Amazing film
Best of the past 10 years tho?
The Lighthouse came out that year
Personally prefer it to the lighthouse but both fantastic films
2019 was god tier film wise tbh so many gems, some of the uncut proportion
The Lighthouse, The Tree of Life, Cemetery of Splendour, A Separation, & Phantom Thread are my FOTDs
HM to Amour & Moonlight
Uncut Gems is a good movie and I don’t really have any bad things to say about it. I think fast paced movies like that rarely appeal to my more personal film tastes, but Uncut Gems is a very good one nonetheless. Maybe I’d be more open to considering it’s soundtrack one of the decade’s best, if not the movie itself. The film moves so quickly, it doesn’t really give you time to think things over, which is arguably the point right, but that’s just not quite the mood that sticks w me over time like what the above films do. Call it a personal bias
that first viewing experience was legendary
opn score
that intro transitioning into a colonoscopy
julia fox
the weeknd performing hob
the ending
My first viewing experience was incredible. Very unsettling film, but it kinda lost its replay value when I watched it again.
