My gf has another hearing on the 23rd for identity verification. Her employer won’t let her take the day off work cause too many people are already off.
She is trying to postpone the hearing but the number they provided is always busy and won’t let her through. The number is only live 9-4 M-F so she calls every day during her lunch break cause that’s the only time she can. Not once has she gotten through.
She has until tomorrow to postpone it
girls gonna have to tell her boss to let her take as long as a lunch as possible to do this at work if she can’t get throughWow this seems really frustrating

I mean our problems ain’t that bad cause we can afford to pay back these payments god forbid they force us to. Just like... at this point just f***ing tell us if we owe it or not so we don’t have this hanging on our backs forever

Finally got through and they said they put it in their escalation queue or whatever and if I don’t hear anything back in 10 days give a call back

NYS tried to sweat me a couple years ago saying i owed back unempmoyment money (prepandemic) and i literally just ignored them. Never even responded let alone gave them any bread. Not s*** happened to me. Im not sayin to do what i did, but i guarantee nothing bad is gonna happen and you def will not have to pay it back lol
