I lost my side gig back in March but I was still working FT at my main job and some of my coworkers at the side gig files for the unemployment and got it but I didn’t want to risk getting involved in some s*** like this so I decided to just not file

They are claiming I was ineligible from may 23rd to July 25th which was 8.6k. Their reasoning was “you were ineligible for these dates” which is bullshit since I was still unemployed looking for a job??? And my gf got ineligible for her entire claim period (March - august which is $16k + btw) and they said “wasn’t impacted by Covid-19” which is bullshit since we had the same job and both lost it due to Covid 19

You gotta realize that when this pandemic unemployment s*** first hit the streets applications were pouring in by the millions and in order to not waste time they pretty much approved the majority of them
