Freddie and The Master relationship was underdeveloped if we are being honest, I didn’t buy them being that close at the end
Most DC heads and a lot of people who aren't a fan of DC will say "the animated stuff is pretty dope" but to me that s*** fell of hard years ago.
You get a cool thing here or there but overall I been flaccid with animated DC. That new52 wave and bombardment of batman flicks was dry.
They also are odd at adapting stories. They'll pick at good stories and try to make an hour and a half flick put of em when they'd work better as mini serieses.
i agree. I also hate how a good chunk of these new animated movies make Nightwing look like a b****, i forgot which movie it was but I remember he lost a fight to f***in Scarecrow
Take a shot every time they try to do the self destruct, try to die in battle, or tries to get another character to kill them
Nigga Heero legit backs out the strap on every main character including the love interest nigga like damn

master never quite worked for me. lot of the movie felt underwritten and trying to operate in an existential, archetypal way that wasn’t earned. need to rewatch it haven’t seen it in forever but probably my least favorite pta movie

I don't think they were ever truly close, it was a symbiotic relationship that had (thanks to the real Master, Peggy) run its course

idk, I have to watch it again. Acting was great and it had a lot of great scenes, but the narrative lacked something, I don’t know what it was

Definitely his most amorphous story and the ambiguity works wonders for its mystique imo
Paul said he's not even sure why but it's his most successful piece of art (something along those lines) and I gotta agree

the movie was good tho, I have to watch it again to give it a proper critique. Also it didnt help that I watched it online on s***ty quality for free

My opinion is as valid as yours bro, and I would have loved to see the movie properly but it isn’t on any of the streaming services on my country.

no im just saying its a film where you stop trying to make sense of the exact narrative and just let all the elements wash over you so im not surprised the experience didnt hit in s***ty free quality

I agree with you, I still liked the movie tho

The last great DC animated film was Flashpoint Paradox. Everything after that has been a step down. Occasionally they have good ones like Suicide Squad, and Justice League Dark.
The new ones with that new animation style have been pretty good

That too. "I'll kill you"
Mind you im pretty sure he is 15.
He threatened quetra, Duo, and relena like 5 times to name a few
I really liked Mitchells vs the Machines but I'm tired of the outsider white girl nerd type. They always look the same.
That type of s*** is why sweats were telling Gambino he can't be a nerd cause he's Black
into the spider verse was mid tbh
It was 7/10 for me. I enjoyed reading the Miles Morales origin comic more than the movie somehow. It is good but I don't get the 10/10 praise it gets personally. Animation is top notch though.
I just watched Punch Drunk Love and didn't like it much. Barry's a frustrating character to follow the entire film
spirited away is an ok movie. it does nothing that other ghibli movies don’t do better. it also has little to offer outside of charm and being beautiful. nobody can ever actually explain why this movie is considered one of the best of all time because it’s just a nostalgia thing. it just happened to be the first one that had a large release in america
