i just googled some TLJ salt and found this on reddit
"He clearly wanted not only to kill Luke but kill anyone's love for the character in the same film. He wasn't interested in much else than trying to make people not like Luke any more and instead care about a stupid space casino romp and a forced forbidden romance between Rey and Kylo."
with a ton of upvotes. i love Luke and thought his death and sendoff was awesome
Those people are below losers as far as im concerned

Well you know more about plants than I do. Arent you a gardener?
About the same as yours, the last two episodes were really great. Although, it still feels like a show thats not trying to be something that can be excluded from the rest of the MCU which is the problem I've had with all the shows. Everything is part of something bigger and never has any sort of proper conclusion. Every show has concluded by setting up something else or introducing a new villain. They seem to always play it very safe and that just screams laziness. The more I think about these shows, the more I start believe that by next year, they'll be completely forgotten. They're fun, but this s*** leaves no lasting impressions by the time they're finished.
Yea I kinda agree with all that, especially about the conclusions point you bring up. Wandavision was decent but was inconsistent at times, and that awful finale did no favors and really soured my opinion of the show to the point where I almost feel like I coulda skipped out entirely on it. And Falcon/Winter Soldier had its moments but also felt very safe and inconsistent for the most part, and is ultimately forgettable. Loki has a cult fanbase so I can see people still praising the show later down the line, but as for the other two shows, my biggest feeling about them is...who f***ing cares?
So I finished the Harry Potter series and I'm definitely putting it over Star Wars
P Valley has some of the best, freshest, and most enjoyable dialogue in recent television.

This shouldn’t be a hot take but sadly it is. Sure Star Wars is more important to culture and film but franchise to franchise, Harry Potter is better overall

Its great. Shot really well the visuals are crazy. Some of the stuff is over the top but it works
people dont fw Desus n Mero? They still put quality content fosho
I don’t find them funny at all. They’re also way too “New York” for my liking. Maybe why I pretty much any of their jokes ever land to me.
I've noticed people that hate on The Last Jedi tend to be dumb, or at least hate on it for really dumb reasons
It’s a badly executed movie. I like the concept, breaking away from all that nostalgic bullshit storylines, and forging something completely new. That is what I want them to do with Star Wars.
The movie itself it just bad. The worst action set pieces in a movie I’ve seen in recent memory. Character motivations being pretty shallow, Overall boring movie from start to finish. I understand TFA already put him in a bad position, but Rian still air balled it.
Loki wasn’t better than WV or F&WS as a whole. It had a better finale than both, that is pretty much it. But KTT eats up anything with low lit environments and neon lights.

Fair enough, I just disagree completely lol. I loved the action parts (the red throne room, the desert fight, Luke vs Kylo, that crazy kamikaze scene), I liked Luke being an angry hermit. It all worked for me.
Tarantino hasn't made a GREAT film since Inglourious Basterds
TBF that's like saying Kanye hasn't had a good album since MBDTF. Both are their magnum opus.

The Red Throne Room set piece is objectively a horribly directed scene from top to bottom. Even on my first watch, I was just looking at it like what is going on??

Tim Burtons Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is leagues better than the original, way more in spirit with Roald Dahl's actual book and just better made in general
