Watching DragonBall evolution for the first time on riftrax and got damn lmao. Rough time for dbz fans
Watchmen, Star Trek, District 9, transformers, AND xmen origins dropped that year?
Jesse Armstrong didn’t deliver with succession finale
He set too high of a bar with episode 3

Whoa all them classics
Stringer Bell should’ve been the final villain instead of Marlo
yea Marlo didn’t do anything for me
Every time I rewatch Breaking Bad I sympathize with Skyler more.
I watch people on YouTube watching this show for the first time and one thing I notice is that the women empathize with Skyler immediately. And they'll make comments to the audience like..."I don't get why you guys hate Skyler...I just don't see it." A lot of men view Skyler as a barrier, when in reality she's a victim.

ive seen it twice and i've hated her both times. I don't care if she's the "good" person in all this. she still annoying lol
The hyper shy anxious meek girl in anime is getting on my F***ING NERVES

Hinata is the only character of this archetype I’ve ever seen but I agree. I get that her character isn’t as offensively bad as Sakura for most of the story but she’s still insanely mind numbingly BORING as a love interest.
The ONLY reason people like her is t***.

I was actually thinking of a character from Gundam and a character from My Hero. Idk why they make it someone's entire persona

Ah never seen either of those but no surprise they have them. As I’m sure you already know the submissive quiet shy girl is Japans traditional idea of the perfect woman, who ‘knows her role’ and is seen but not heard. Not designed for western appeal, but I think that idea is becoming less common as time goes on.

I feel that. And though I've seen like 2 episodes of Naruto I have seen enough and saw fans saying the same thing you said. I don't know why there's so much trouble with creating a female character who has a spectrum of emotions. I mean I get there are personality types and most people have their "defaults" but how many stammering finger twiddling head down soft spoken insecure mopey characters are we gonna get?
I know it's the natural progression but I'm kinda getting bored with the whole nanite suit thing. It's too convenient
