I know it's the natural progression but I'm kinda getting bored with the whole nanite suit thing. It's too convenient
100% agreed. A superhero costume’s purpose is as emblematic of their grit as it is their identifier. For example; Spidey needing to actually wash his costume grounds the character in two very personal dilemmas: ruining the entire load and getting caught as being Spider-Man. That’s a fun and small suspenseful scene in its own right
Or an armored character gets significantly battle damaged so now they have to be more careful in protecting the suit as well as their own slightly more exposed selves. Now their actions are more defensive than offensive, and they have to be clever in order to survive - more great drama. This is why I really dug the detail of Iron Man’s nanotech suit getting near-permanent damage, as it created more drama and led to a legit and wholly logical death scare
Basically, give the heroes their costumes back lol

Damn, I was tryna put my finger on why fight scenes with superheroes don't feel so tense anymore
The Walking Dead s1 >>>> TLOU s1. I’m ready to have this debate with any of y’all.

I honestly don't think this is a minority opinion. Maybe on this forum, but general public? Nah.
Goodfellas is more enjoyable than The Godfather.
Eh, they're too different, stylistically speaking. It depends on what you generally prefer, between the frenetic pacing of Scorsese, or the lingering, set-piece driven direction of Coppola.
James Cameron, Spike Lee & Guillermo Del Toro are the most overrated directors
If anything, Spike and Guillermo are underrated. James got some classics under his belt.
Bro these video essay niggas that be telling folks what makes a story good and how a story should be written be born after 2000

nigga @ me if you gonna talk s*** about me
Ah never seen either of those but no surprise they have them. As I’m sure you already know the submissive quiet shy girl is Japans traditional idea of the perfect woman, who ‘knows her role’ and is seen but not heard. Not designed for western appeal, but I think that idea is becoming less common as time goes on.
Who’s your ideal anime girl based off personality? For me, it’d be someone like Re-L Mayer from ergo proxy. She could get labeled as two dimensional but I find her dope cus she’s interesting the way she moves through life and acts.
Teen titans go is not that bad
Only out of touch millennials s*** on Teens Titans Go!

Don’t stake me for this, but Sakura and Tsunade. They’ve got fun personalities.
However, AoT Annie > both
Stringer Bell should’ve been the final villain instead of Marlo
eh it would go against the point of his character honestly. stringer was always the lone shark in a pond: he couldn't look beyond his nose and clay davis proved it. it was fitting seeing him going out the way he went.

Someone gets it

He was a “lone shark in a small pond” because he tried to build a corporate structure in the chaotic Baltimore d*** game.
Stringer was impatient at times yes, but he wasn’t reckless like Marlo, who had a bunch of people killed cuz of some off-hand comments.
Also Marlo only survived because of the lack of resources from the police department and the illegal way McNulty & Freeman had to catch him. While Stringer was hard to catch despite the FBI being involved as well.
Edit - the spoiler is not working for some reason

I mean, luck and timing always played a part but saying he has risen only for that is throwing my boy a shade lmao. marlo wildcard violent attitude is what actually brought him at the top but yeah, all those gangster got strong qualities as commanders but they were pretty naive as well. if the show kept going for another season he would have got whacked anyway lmao, like some user commented on the a\*\*\*yzing evil video about him, achieving stringer's dream was his nightmare because the whole rep thing
I still prefer the way things were written but to each their own.
