Other than the fact that Coppola went out his way to reaffirm Scorsese's rhetoric, I'm not sure what more people need to realize those MCU movies are literally capitalistic brain leeches that exist solely to keep their pockets emptier and make everyone involved richer. Also none of them are good.

The fact they are s***ty ass movies is enough, but they literally exist for a greedy white f*** like Bob Iger to monopolize theaters and take bigger cuts making it harder for theaters to show smaller films. They literally contribute to killing cinema and I feel that is is moreso the beef Scorsese and Coppola have with the films than them being bad.

Disney literally tried to ban a major newspaper from press screenings for exposing corrupt business practices about them.
They are extremely controlling on all their products and it literally has caused smaller theaters to shut down because they have killed the market for smaller indie films.

They are hating on Disney in particular because of that. They are proponents of independent film and telling narrative driven stories and they are seeing those films suffer because of Disney monopolizing the entertainment industry and control movie theaters to make it harder for those voices to get out.
