There is an intrinsic link between MCU ratings & the race & gender of the leads of the shows and movies. It also subconsciously (or consciously depending on how cynical you are) bleeds into discourse about MCU films and tv shows.

I respect and enjoy the slick writing to some degree but the deliveries and the jokes are pretty much the same all the time
