Is it just me or does it seem like female characters get bashed a lot for not being perfect characters by a lot of male audience members who wouldn't voice those same opinions on a male character. What made me think of this was comments about Captain Marvel, Wonder Woman during the Injustice games, Delores during season 2 of Westworld, Danerys from Game Of Thrones and a few others I can't think of at the moment.

Once Delores shifted into becoming a different kind of character with different goals some niggas just wouldn't shut the f*** up about it and would complain at every turn. The same with Danerys. Once she started really sweeping through her campaign the hate started rolling in. And niggas would normally stick by and just ride the character arc if it was a dude.

Now I can't speak too well on Captain Marvel and the hate in comment sections because I've only seen her in Endgame but again once a female character reaches a certain level of power and niggas can't imagine themselves f***ing them, they just getting s*** on. And I get that there are flaws surrounding a lot of the characters I mentioned but there are male characters written like this that are never met with the same hate. And funny enough dudes love Gal's Wonder Woman because she seems like an easily manipulated "Woman child" goddess where she's hot enough, strong enough but would still f*** a dude who imagines themself as Bruce Wayne/Batman

Speaking of token, yall ever notice the first time a deviation from hetero whiteness is portrayed in a big movie or even subtely it's always a white person to make the introduction more digestible? Every time there is a universal story, it is always told through the lens of a white person.

Serena Williams was picked on her whole career for her size and features and colored girls as a whole get hyper sexualized or even portrayed as unfeminine for their bodies then they have a movie called tall girl about a tall white chick.

That is similar to my complaint about superman being some "outcast" despite the fact that hes a good looking strong godly powered white man.

But then people b**** about "forced diversity"

I think James Marsden should be put in other roles where he is an antagonist. The charming guy roles are cool but I think he has potential that's not being explored

I didn't get the Fury Road hype either. It just came off as a desert action flick with a junkyard aesthetic and an orange filter

I thought Blade Runner 2049 would be good but it was kinda boring but looked beautiful

Problem with 2046 was that the whole Leto aspect of that thing was s***ty. No matter how good-looking the film is that's gonna make things difficult. And even then I preferred the OG look that was more noir.

The promo anime was actually quite interesting I thought

Joker was very s***. 4/10 max. just so happens that MCU average of 1/10 makes it look next level
