Prometheus is for sure a dope movie but the direction they went after that with Covenant made me lose hope for the reboot being anything other than just a couple ok movies
I liked the more philosophical angle with finding your creator, its a shame fans cried for the return of the Xeno cause Covenant had the weakest Xenomorph encounter imo in the whole franchise
This is legit exactly how i feel. Ridley should've kept the philosophical take and focused on the engineers instead of aliens. Lack of aliens wasnt the issue with Prometheus, it was dumb characters and the confusing black goo
Covenant had some good ideas but overall is so mediocre and unsatisfying.
Wish they kept it more prometheius and less whatever covenant was trying to do

Agree with everything
i still wish Ridley Scott can make a final 3rd movie for this series to maybe tie it all up a bit better, but im not really sure if he knows how to do that himself lmao
Prometheus had me interested in the Alien franchise again. So different in tone and I was curious about the new nightmares that could be created with the goo.
Covenant was a generic Alien slasher film. Really should have saved the Xenos for the third film.
Don't get why people think Thanos is one of the best villains in cbms when he's not in top 3 in the MCU

Fr. I didnt even hate Covenant but they did them Engineer niggas DIRTY. They had something interesting going on with that plot in Prometheus and Covenant just said "Fuck it" and erased all the potential it coulda had.

So when it comes to compelling villains, whos better than Thanos? Cus the only one I can think of atm is Killmonger. Him & Thanos the only 2 interesting villains in MCU to me. Maaaaaaybe you can slide Loki into that list too.

Killmonger
Zemo
Loki in The Avengers
I just didn't feel any emotion for Thanos whatsoever

Zemo was cool. Is he still alive? Feel like he could go brazy and f*** some s*** up in the future

I heard he was going to be the villain in the Falcon and winter soldier series

I'm in for that

Zemo don't do it for me. Feel like Hela couldve been hard if they handled her right. Killmonger and Thanos the only ones that made me feel anything

turn up
Anime fans will call any blonde or non brown eyed character as white but let someone call a brown skinned character Black then they turn into geneticists and s***
BVS Ultimate edition isn't THAT much better than theatrical release. But it's more enjoyable though.
I'm right
What's your reasoning? Also is basterds also one of your fav tarantinos?

If you take out the jackson/travolta plotline it's a much weaker film. As far as incredible performances leo's and waltz>anything in pulp imo. Idk man I think it's just a more consistent classic, the uma thurman plot compared to everything else just kindve throws it off.
I watched basterds way after I had already seen django so it felt somewhat derivative. Tbh I like jackie brown more than basterds

I mean yeah but that's the heart of the film. I kinda agree though, the bruce willis scenes go on a bit long.
Word I asked cause I've seen alot of tarantino fans who enjoy one alot really like the other. Jackie Brown>>
