A Mad Ass NiggaIt’s not really “searching hard”. You can open your Apple Music app right now and randomly stumble across stuff that you like lol the problem is y’all need white america to guide you and tell you what to listen to.

im the nigga that came up on lurking youtube,blogs,magazines etc for new music. Saying people need white America to tell them whats hot is pretty strong. For me,its just the combo of getting older and really not caring.Seems like rap got way sillier last decade and im just not into it.

If you only listen to what the radio plays or what’s on playlists I can understand that but there are so many rap artists out here that don’t make the type of music you mentioned. It’s sad that “mainstream” rap is about guns and murder and kind of the same sonically but there are artists that take their music serious and commit to their artistry.
For example Saba, Westside Boogie, Denzel Curry, Joey Badass, Marlon Craft, Larry June, Lupe Fiasco, Kendrick Lamar, EARTHGANG, JID, Cousin Stizz, Vince Staples. It’s so many out there.
Sep 16, 2022I get what you’re saying to an extent but don’t really fully agree with it. Some of it is repetitive and boring but a lot of good artists are out there now putting out dope stuff. It just depends on what you enjoy really.
