i mean sure bad diet can contribute to disorderly health but making the leap to your conclusions is pretty thoughtless
I disagree. In my health journey i have discovered that everything about how your brain works is dependent on sleep, exercise, and diet. I know for a fact the reason for my mental health struggles is poor diet as a child
you can have great mental health and a s***ty diet lol, your environment that encouraged that diet was probably 10x more of an effect than just your diet

This is a dumb lie
can confirm this is true, i had 3 bowls of frosted flakes today and now i cant make eye contact w the girl at udf
This is a dumb lie
it’s not a dumb lie lol
there are plenty of well known and studied effects your environment plays into the development on your bodies genetic system as well as any mutation that may occur prior to your birth due to your parents environment (a single young mom versus a stay at home mom for example, both could still have an autistic child regardless of diet but one autistic child is going to have a better chance at developing in a better environment that facilitates learning and brain development even if the child got a s***ty diet). as you age, your environment will almost directly correlate to the success you have in having a chance to give your brain access to strong developmental links such as your social circle, the diet you have access to, or the education and/or tools you have to your usage that your brain can train itself to build upon as you learn cognition and motor skills, which again, are gonna be affected by your environment not your just your diet
it’s not dumb, maybe you just hadn’t thought about it long enough or considered all the factors at play
like a single mother of color versus a white single mom are simply going to be treated differently when it comes to the health of their child, it’s sadly just the reality of the medical field. that right there is an environmental trigger that has nothing to do with diet. now one mother might get the chance to place her child in some type of pre-care system (white mom) that aids their development as they get older while the other child is simply placed on medication and IEPs in school
meanwhile both kids are getting free and reduced lunch. it’s deeper than just “my diet made me autistic” lol
Start feeding your autistic son grilled chicken breasts with a side of brown rice and see if that cures his inability to read social cues
If we follow op’s logic (don’t recommend), then people can’t be born with ADHD/autism (which we know would be a f***ing lie)
So now I ask @op, do you also believe that people can’t be born with ADHD/autism? And don’t “I didn’t say that” your way outta this, it automatically comes with your argument
Im cooling bro. Just waiting to start the day. But what I am saying is obviously true and im just trying to stress the importance of nutritions to any fellow Americans
Bruh said “obviously true” while providing no research papers or backed data to support his claim
Debunk me
You pulled a claim out of your ass with literally nothing to support it and you have the gall to ask other people to debunk you
“Santa is real. You can tell cause there’s presents under the tree. No I’m not gonna tell you why or how. If you don’t like it, debunk me.”
OP on some anti-science tip rn but it’s worth mentioning that lack of magnesium does clutter your mind badly
Signs of autism can be seen within the first 12 months, and a huge amount of diagnosis' occur between age 2 and age 3 at this point in time. I'm pretty sure the current majority is just around age 3, and these diagnosis depend on the behavior of a person from the first couple years of their life
Autism has never been defined as something you "grow into" or "catch" from your environment. It's always been a neurodevelopmental disorder as opposed to a disorder that devops at life milestones or like developing a disorder from environmental poison (or whatever)
What would be interesting to see more research on is diets of pregnant women. Though it's pretty clear rates of autism depend on family genetics, which might compile over time in family trees
Also the rate of diagnosis is higher naturally due to the diagnosis system overall becoming far looser and much wider criteria to be considered autistic. Many people in the past who were given different labels are now getting ASD instead. It's a broad label and that's by design which has effectively changed the overall meaning of ASD in comparison to a couple decades ago. Schools also have a huge legal requirement to always try and diagnosis under many different situations which was not required before, or at least to the same level. They test far more than they diagnose. Private/healthcare related diagnosing has never been easier or cheaper in the past as well. There are many incentives to testing more people due to the healthcare industries surrounding it that are all interconnected across many healthcare/legal/education/housing systems so testing rates have really increased too.
Why is it in America kids will be malnourished to the point where they’re not getting essential proteins/iron/fiber and thats treated like normal. Its very common for kids to have poor diet because of the terrible food culture and lack of knowledge about nutrition. As someone who used to be fat I can say that nutrition is 100 percent a factor in mood. So why do we allow a society where kids are fed sugar daily with no protein and think that doesn’t effect their development
that's not just an unpopular opinion
it's a statement that flies in the face of decades of medical research and is flat out wrong
nutrition and accumulated body fat does play a role in a person's mental health and things like attention, working memory & recall, I won't say that's made up
but ADHD and Autism aren't just caused by that
