Frame rate doesnt matter that much. Its noticeable but unless youre playing online competively it does not f***ing matter.
After playing h2 at 30FPS on a tube for the past year I rock with this post
Tbh, I beat Malenia in just a few tries with the mimic tear and a double dagger bleed build, haha. Was a relief it did not take 60 tries or anything like that. FWIW, it wasn't a meta build beyond the bleed aspect. I only had one Reduvia and an upgraded dagger in my off-hand. Regardless, was a good time and I think Malenia would have been one of my favorite bosses if not for Whirlwind Dance. Even if I was able to get through her rather easily, that move is just no fun. Moves that punish you for not getting their timing so perfectly are not fun.
Don't get me started on Consort Radahn's pre-nerf moveset. I literally pulled up a video to study his moves and it hardly helped at all, it left me more confused even. The sheer variety of possible delays, combo interruptions and AoE attacks were ridiculous. The truth is though, I ended up enjoying the rest of the DLC bosses in spite of hearing all the criticisms against them. That s*** was ridiculous though, I had zero fun playing it. The funniest thing was Radahn attacking your FPS. Unintentional but I think it symbolizes Fromsoft's recent boss philosophy pretty well lmao. Hopefully the patch alleviated that battle.
Indeed, Elden Ring's diverse opportunities for builds is what makes the game the most fun IMO, I fully agree with you there. The fact that the game however insists on hard-capping certain builds in favor of a few specific ones later on is quite a shame. I would have rather had a much easier game that favored more opportunities. The whole re-speccing for one battle thing never sat well with me and I never did it.
Funny you said 60 tries cause thats how many it took on my last run
Agree with everything u said
I do somewhat like how easy it is in ER to respect but i still wish it wasnt limited at all i dont really mind changing up my whole strategy just to defeat a boss i think its fun personnally

Don’t agree at all. 120hz looks so good, I struggle going back to 60 these days
Gaming needs a Midnight Club reboot with epic customization, real time car damage with a focus on being closer to MC2 then Dub Edition

its just gotta be consistent, for example bloodborne is unplayable to me

I'm big on role-playing and I like having an option to beat the game with any reasonable build myself. ER is in this weird spot where you can mostly do that but there are some ridiculous hurdles every once in a while that really kill the vibe. I'm fine with it being harder, but I think there should be more options rather than locking players out of them and forcing them to play a certain way (usually caster or RoB lmao). It does a good job for the most part but it's frustrating when it doesn't.
You didn’t play titanfall 2? It’s the best FPS of the last decade. It’s up there for best of all time as well
Just played this all in one sitting last night it was f***ing awesome

In light of this article, my hot take is remakes should and can never replace the original, and both should always be available. Im so mad at capcom for not publishing the PS1 RE around, im mad konami doesnt give me silent hill 2 ps2 and demon's souls PS3 should also be natively available on PS5
After seeing both performance and quality modes in Metroid Prime;
I'm convinced framerate is the most important factor for a video games visual clarity.
Having used my Lg C1 for the past few years really already proved that, but your eyeballs just soak in way more info with more frames.
All the bells and whistles dont mean s***e when you pan the camera and can see the frames.
Y?
not enough alien coochie
Black ops 6 is the best cod in the last 5yrs
Nah... before BO7 , Mw3 was the best cod in the last 5 yrs
Now that BO7 is out, i think its the best cod since BO4
The Walking Dead Telltale series is buns and the acclaimed first season is mid. Actually, Telltale sucks in general. The Wolf Among Us is their only good title
black ops 7 isn't bad people just hating on things and cod is an easy target
Forget BO4, Black ops 7 is the best cod since BO3
RPGs, ARPGs especially need to get back to emphasizing the role-playing aspect of RPGs. So Diablo/POE, etc. they’re too focused on being power fantasies, and endgame loop systems, rather than actually making games that you can actually become immersed with.
