oh another take, ive never been able to get into souls games. its not the difficulty throwing me off. i dont mind hard games at all. I just find the combat clunky

i think it is other shooters way too slow. and cod is boring.

mobas def have a low skill ceiling compared to rts. thats not to say the people at the top aren’t extremely talented, or that I could do that.

but i grew up on starcraft, which does objectively have a lot higher skill cieling than mobas. brood war has the highest skill cieling of any videogame. so when it comes to watching soemthing for entertainment, i MUCH prefer watching starcraft, because of how much skill is involved. and if im going to invest my time into learning a game, id rather learn something much more engaging.

also i dont like the team aspect of mobas at all. I like when you lose, its only on you. when you win, its only on you.

well yes, broodwar is like the hardest game ever.

Splatoon is pretty fast paced compared to other shooters. Titan fall 2 was great. Tribes ascend… team fortress 2, shootmania, half life 2 deathmatch. Although I get the feeling you prefer shooters that have constant fights, rather than slower gameplay

There is no debate grand theft auto mission design and gameplay loop has to advance . S*** many games killing enemies or spongy enemies in waves isn’t enough to stop from eventually facing boredom

cyberpunk is a pandering and patronizing aesthetic. it’s prevalence is a result of its visual signifiers being so easy to mass produce that it completely strips away the potential for any unique identity a game could hope to create for itself

i wish i could get into it. every few years i give it another try, but it just doesnt click. hopefully it eventually will.

i got dark souls when it first came out, couldnt get into it. got dark souls 2 when it came out, couldnt get into it. gave up.
got elden ring, couldnt get into it. although its a beautiful looking game

If it wasnt for how unique and beautiful and amaizng that world was i probably wouldve stopped too lol. But funny enough elden ring is what made me finally like souls games

I have faith in Rockstar addressing it because this criticism has been made about all of their games since like IV but I will be very disappointed if VI ends up having this amazing, realistic open world with tons to do but the story missions are still the same old same old and don't allow any player creativity

you know what i forgot about tf2. i LOVED that game. youve changed my answer. its my fav since tf2. but what i love about splatoon is that its fast paced like quake

but i only like tf2 before it went free to play, when you had to craft the items. that that was like crack. when all the f2p noobs joined it was rough. there were holdouts with servers that banned them. but once it turned into microtransaction hell i was out.

at least cs microtransactions are jsut aesthetics.

yeah when i play shooters i lvoe the frantic ness but there has to be strategy. i think splatoon does and excellent balance.

i played roamer (soldier), scout, demo and medic in 6s. legit played every main class on a team at some point

there's actually another ktt user on here that posts in the fashion section. ive played with him since i was like 13 i was surprised to learn he was on ktt like 8 years ago

a lot of homies + acquaintances went on to go pro in overwatch it was insane to witness
