Pokemon (talking Gen 1-5, haven't played anything after) doesn't get enough credit for how it manages to be simple but also have the depth of a JRPG most people wouldn't expect. And people can enjoy the games no matter how much they understand about the underlying systems. A 5 year old kid can play and enjoy these games and have no idea about things like STAB, the difference between attack and special attack, natures etc. Hell, you have plenty of adults playing Pokemon who have no idea what EVs/IVs are

yeah pokemon might be the best example of a game thats accessible to everybody, but is extremely difficult at a high level.
wow wow this is so f***ing cool man

you mightve been able to tbh, but you cant look at things like that. ppl who dont make it, dont ever come close. people who do, have lots of close calls that fail until it works.
im sure youll find something to be at the top of and capitalize on, regardless if its a videogame or something different. since you already proved you can learn something to a high level
have u played the re release? heard they f***ed it up
not sure if i should revisit it lol
Yeah it’s exactly like classic official gunz, with hackers, oh also a lot of new bugs somehow and the use of generative AI for some stuff
I played a few hours and I’m so f***ing rusty plus my fingers start to hurt LMAO it’s a young man’s game.
Titanfall 2 montage in your previous post too
great taste my friend that’s my favorite console shooter OAT grapple hook movement was legendary.

i actually spend most of my time producing music now
the future is looking bright
and ya youre right, ive come to terms with it. part of the reason i stopped pursuing esports dreams was because i didnt like the sacrifices i had to make,,, for a damn video game lol

I'm sure your muscle memory will kick in soonm stunt on those kids
gunz community is prob full of uncs tho
bro any shooter with dope movement i fall in love with
cyberpunk is a pandering and patronizing aesthetic. it’s prevalence is a result of its visual signifiers being so easy to mass produce that it completely strips away the potential for any unique identity a game could hope to create for itself
The punk in Cyberpunk has been missing for a while. Very standardized aesthetic

thats awesome man good luck with the music. i think creating stuff is more fulfilling than videogames. at least for me personally.
I think we have enough samurai games for now and the industry can move onto something else
God forbid Asians do games about their own history
There are enough European elves orcs bs games out there

Slash shot into flash step off a wall into double butterfly spam into dual shotty spam
Bro same, any interesting movement in a shooter always gets me hype as long as it’s done well or relevant. I haven’t liked COD’s OD movement at all.
This is very true but i am apart of the issue and keep funding it. Onimusha was fun. Assassins creed shadows is still one of the worst games iv ever played.
Played Tsushima, will probably play Yotei. Onimusha I'd like to get eventually. Still have Sekiro in my backlog. Phantom Blade Zero will probably be a "if it's cheap/free on Plus" game for me. Keep the rest
Far Cry 5 is one of the worst games I ever played, I hate that game so much
Only Ubisoft open world games I'll consider still giving a shot are AC Origins and Watch Dogs 2
Expand. Curious
basically every modern implementation is just the devs saying "you like anime, right? you like ghost in the shell, right? satoshi kon? hell yeah, all of that stuff is in our game! oh, yeah and "capitalism" we know you hate that word, it's in our game too! huh? oh yeah, bro, sooo much subtext, like a lot of subtext dude, it's awesome!" and then they wrap it all up in blue and pink neon lights, ramen shops, katanas, asian fetishism, """"""AI"""""" and akira drift slides. the game itself gets buried under an innumerable amount of layers of references and a visual aesthetic that is delivered so heavy handedly that it's indistinguishable from the next

I got one in mind but which games are you referring to?

https://twitter.com/youngthug/status/664052422231371776all of them i guess? my eyes honestly glaze over whenever i see a new one announced and i completely forget about them within seconds
3DS is overpriced for no reason. imo, most of the best 3ds games are acquired taste and its entire library isn’t even that strong. It is easy to mod but I don’t understand why’d anyone would choose that as their main modding device in an attempt to play non DS games. the 3ds used to be properly priced. people overate it too much idk man it was lowkey niche
Ps vita > psp (no idea why more people get psps)
Edit: even if you want to play DS games, a dsi is much better due to the displays. Literally beautiful and pixel perfect. I have a dsi xl just to play DS. I don’t play regular DS games on my n3ds
Rockstar trying to get validation for realism in their games ruined them to a level. PS2 era was great, GTAIV was the first crack but its my favorite GTA so im going to let it slide but GTAV and RDR2 feel bad gameplay wise. Mission design is boring as well. I have not followed GTAVI after the first trailer because they lost me unfortunately. Not that it matters when its going to break every record first week.
Abandoning movie tie-in games was a BIG mistake
Movie tie-in games >>>> souls-like and samurai slop

99% agree with you. The 1% because I thoroughly enjoyed what R* did with rdr2 despite the cumbersome gameplay
I’m gonna play GTA VI for sure, but I just don’t care that much about muh realism. My hype is lower than ever
