the whole garlic scene was... for what? to kill that random dude?
and were those random humans getting murked in the final fight? I thought it was just our leads left. was pretty confused at that point.
And the way everyone was outside and smoke was just able to magically walk passed all of them to save the day and kill Remmick

bro i was wondering who da hell they were killing too!
Niggas complaining bout the sun coming up. Thats how you know it’s goated
Plot convenience is a thing where something suddenly happens to save the good guys.
The entire time they kept saying “we just gotta wait it out for the sun to come out we gotta wait it out all night” and set it up as if it was like around midnight and they deadass had to wait for hours.
And then the sun comes out like 10 minutes later making what the Asian lady did seem even more stupid
I think the final fight could've been more kinetic/creative, and that would've helped a lot. Still some good moments, but I think having it be more frenetic/stylized would've helped hammer home the stakes if you will. I liked remmicks speech so much that the final part isn't the worst, I like the silver in the guitar being of use as well. I agree tho, stabbing him with the broken guitar as a stake would've been kino too. I have more problems with the KKK fight at the end, THAT truly felt unnecessary. I love the part with him getting back with his wife and kid tho, I'd rather that part have been added onto remmicks death, and just extended that part of the finale without tacking on that last part. Didn't feel important to the movie at all
Facts it didn’t. it definitely looked cool with MBJ using a 30s style Tommy gun killing the KKK but it felt unnecessary.
Stack going from trying to kill his brother to promising Smoke he won’t kill Sammie
Yeah that felt a little too easy cus stack killed the GF like it was nothing
Sure but what could have been… like that’s a cool scene if someone is actually a vamp inside. But it was for one more Lindo joke?
I honestly was not thinking “The thing” at all and doubt many people were
They killed the leader so he wasn't under direct mind control anymore
Smoke killed the leader after tho

I was under the impression that those were all the folks that left the juke joint once everything popped off. The vamps turned them offscreen and they all came back for the final fight.

Nah he’s more so saying the random guys who were on Smokes side. I remember everyone leaving except the main people but it seems like all sudden they had random people fighting with them once the fight started

And I pointed out way more things than just the sun, but nice way to reduce those things down.

Hmm. I'd have to look closer at that next watch.
Idc what anyone says the whole bad guy stalling to kill the good guy so the good guy has time to save the day is a Hollywood trope/cliche I will never like. Plus why tf is Remmick even fake drowning Sammie? You came all this way to get him so you can be “free” and you essentially giving this nigga a bath smh

He was baptizing him?
why the hell do people want to make sequels and prequels out of everything
greed
why the hell do people want to make sequels and prequels out of everything
Cause its an amazing world
What
That’s funny saying baptizing I was thinking the same thing but essentially the only point for it was to give Smoke time to come save the day. And they had this nigga just walk passed the vampires like it was nothing
Cause its an amazing world
It is but there’s no way a sequel can be done to match up, unless it’s about Stack but then that’s a completely different movie and probably wouldn’t be in this world

Yeah but there were people getting ATTACKED by the vamps that we didn’t know.
Like the big shot of all of our characters while the doors are getting beat down… I didn’t see any other extras.
Maybe I need to see it again, but s*** felt a little sloppy man

Seen some dope ideas floating around about the indian vampire hunters and the irish devil guy backstory, stack & smoke time in chicago
I thiught smoke was stack and stack was smoke (by name) until this morning lol.
My mind wanted Red MBJ to be “smoke” cuz it seemed like he was the one who… wanted Smoke… smh

Yeah, I'd have to see the scene again.

Ohhhh ok that could be interesting, if he could make the main Indian characters interesting to the level of Smoke and Stack. I’d be cool with a Chicago story more than anything but I doubt that would be a vampire movie, which I’d prefer. Just some 1930s gangster s\*\*\*. Like the details of always negotiating, paying people to watch the truck, having this aura surrounding they name, I loved all of that
