Everything flowed together so perfectly it felt like the movie went by fast tbh.
I was locked tf in. And shout-out to the guy who played Sammy s*** he was good.

Unfortunate if they flaming her bc I would guess Goodman is def not carrying water for the studios

Right? She’s obviously asking the questions in that way so that Ryan can flex the deal he got taking away power from the corporation. She likes what he did and wants him to explain it fully.
She’s been the goat for decades but I can’t blame Twitter people knee jerk hating on people who sound like studio corp bootlickers
Haven’t had a craving of a second watch as strong as I have leaving this movie. Feel like I miss the characters so much.
I feel the same way

Fam.. they probably didn't even watch the video clip. Just reacting as usual per Twitter.
That scene with Delta Slim in the car after they pick him up brought a tear to my eye on the second viewing. I feel like it almost encapsulates the whole movie.
I actually don’t even think they were vampire hunters. Everyone just assumes that cuz they were chasing bro
Remmick probably tried to do the same s*** he did at the juke joint to them and their people and they chased him the f*** away with the intent of killing him so he can’t come back for more. Probably a chief and a bunch of spiritually attuned individuals like Annie.
The warning he gave was very explicit like they knew what they were dealing with especially with leaving before the sun went down.

Crazy it was almost cut

https://twitter.com/lulamaybelle/status/1915465769753964623Moviemaking is so crazy. This is my favorite scene in the movie, I couldn’t imagine it being cut.
I think for me I love the first half because it was organic world building and character work. The stories they were telling, the backstories didn’t feel like heavy exposition, the music, the nuances and little details of “hey ima pay you to watch my truck, but hey we need to negotiate first”, Smoke not being able to roll a cigarette. Storytelling wise I love and appreciate all that s***.
I think the vampire stuff is when it became less character driven and more plotty, and it’s always a pet peeve of mine when I can spot plot points that only happened strictly to move the plot to a specific direction.
world building in the first half was so good
I would’ve just watched this as a period piece
I like it cause it feels like cooglers saying “alright not my story to tell from here
”
Dead ass that's what it is I believe.
Remmick didn't have much back story but I guess he is a 700 year old vampire lol
I did love the inclusion of the Irish culture, was O'Connell doing that river dance? Killing that s***.
GODDAMN THE LEGS ON THIS B****
The reading comprehension in the QTs
im just going to assume its cause niggas don’t usually pay attention to the box office
The warning he gave was very explicit like they knew what they were dealing with especially with leaving before the sun went down.
Oh no for sure. I'm just saying they didn't SPECIALIZE in that s***. I think they had knowledge of the supernatural in the same way that Annie did.
Again, I feel that’s a reach but I’ll let it slide as it’s a great film regardless
Not a reach. Stack and Mary are both themselves. Their bodies weren’t hijacked, all the vampires acted on their own volition. They truly believed they were doing people a favor by killing them and turning them into vampires

yeah Mary was upset when Smoke drove the stake into Annie

also the reason they let Sammy Carry on with his music and protecting him I just don't get how they didn't totally turn
I assume that Smoke got tommy gun straight from Chicago, maybe from Capone himself
