But i feel like James Gunn was pretty much allowed to do whatever he wanted with Guardians.
Most MCU directors are usually either mediocre tv directors, and/or RomCom Directors who know how to follow orders(The Russos), or new indie directors who arent big enough to risk ruining their big break(Nia DeCosta for exp.).

Ryan is one of the only established visionary director they have right now. So i could see them giving him more creative freedom than others to stay on good terms with him for future projects

Watched yesterday but already wanna rewatch. Partly due to yesterday's watch being at 1030 pm with a 10 minute intermission and me floating in and out of consciousness

Some of the lingo they were using didn't fit the times but I actually like how they used it and didn't over use it necessarily.
