not a reach at all his album covers have always sucked

only one i liked in recent memory is her loss

but they’ve always been mad tacky

no that’s just your opinion, the artwork for NWTS was actual art, and he has covers that are iconic and forever will be, maybe not all of them

and what about all the videos, the jungle movie and even the entirety of Iceman Ep 4?

It’s a reach to think drake has had nothing but bad art styles lol

What do you think it means

Woman he wants but can't fully "see" or "go to", hence the tape covering her up besides her eyes

And also eyes are the most recognizable part of the human, you can have the whole body but if you take away the eyes it becomes blind to the human brain - so it's reversed + the tape keeping you and/or her away

Then it goes into the album sound and themes, where the first 4 song are really sexual and "selfish", the 5th song is a middle point and the rest are are more self reflecting and "poetic" introspection

The album is the good one out of the 3 imo, and it's follow through fully from concept to design to sound and imo quality - it's also a return to form imo of the poetry RnB style that made Drake famous on TC and NWTS that's been missing since then with only little glimpses on scorpion (which I feel like scorp disc 2 is kinda like a prototype Habibti, but I digress)

And the album itself is like if you combine Marvin's Room, Fireworks and Jaded together and build out a full sound and concept based on those songs

I also think the cover art is aesthetically pleasing and well done even without any meaning put to it, which all covers of Drake's 2020s era have been "half-assed", disconnected from the music or just poorly done besides it and then DLDT with its mixtape feel

And personally: DLDT, HNM and HABIBTI are the only projects I genuinely like from him fully, this decade too, but Habibti give me the thoughtful and art of his SFG, TC and NWTS era where he excited on everything - the music, the art and the concepts that all wrapped back on itself

Idk why ppl are capping for IYRTITL

Yeah it's iconic for memes and how basic and s***tyly it is, but it was literally made bad on purpose from Drake n them as a f*** you to his initial label issues and how it was suppose to be a mixtape before Meek and Drama f***ed it all up

It is literally bad on purpose and it would have been a blank CD if they could at the time - it's the literal point of IYRT to rebel and breakout while making a full of his "enemies" in both music and business

  • Someone gotta call a fatwa on Drake for that HABIBTI cover

  • Sell

    Glove cover was way harder

    facts lol

Even worse with Google AI f***ing up search results that have literal destroyed information seeking

and most of that AI s*** is just an amalgamation of people like Kurrco posting s*** like this with no verifiable sources but hella engagement so the AI thinks “well based on internet conversations” this is fact we are so cooked man…
