Halloween GangConsidering this hasn’t already been posted in here (that I’ve seen anyway) I’m sure there’s probably not much substance to these rumours.
But according to this article, anonymous people who claim to have connections to Drake are saying he’s going to announce CLB will be his last album before he either retires (apparently because he’s noticed a “dwindling reception” which seems like bullshit) or takes an extended hiatus to spend more time with family.

Rosenberg from Hot 97 also recently mentioned rumours of CLB being Drake’s last album but I suppose he could have just gotten that information from the internet as above.
Personally I’d be surprised if Drake pulled the pin after CLB given he said in the Rap Radar interview that he doesn’t plan on retiring at 35 like the bar on Weston Road Flows but he isn’t sure if he wants to rap past 40. If that’s the case then I guess it would make more sense to keep going hard for the next few years at least before his 40th bday starts to loom on the horizon.
Also I don’t know if he’d want to bow out now without being able to tour and s*** and he’s such a workaholic that I can’t picture it.
But playing devils advocate, maybe he feels like now is the right time to step away and spend time with his son and parents while COVID is still going on, and he’ll return in a couple of years once he can tour properly again?
Idk, I’m not buying into it but really I just want some reassurance that Drizzy’s not hanging up the headphones anytime soon

Drake is the least likely of “The Big 3” of this generation to retire first tbh lol. He may start taking longer breaks if anything but retire? Seems very unlikely, based off his own words and actions. He also sees the chatter about his reign, I think he takes stuff like that as a challenge.

Not bait at all, people are allowed to discuss s*** like this especially when someone like Rosenberg made mention of it.
He did the rap radar interview before Covid really hit and a lot of stuff has happened since then. Like I said, I doubt the legitimacy of the claims but it’s not out of the realm of possibly that he’s had a change of heart
