this is an important thing to consider @op. if it’s a jada pac situation then you really just the will and you gotta pack it up, you don’t want that. unless it’s like a situation where it’s two old people and they both widows/widowers like Julieta by Pedro Almodóvar or that one Robert Redford flick you don’t want that for yourself. but if it’s just a thing she’ll be over soon because the nigga was an a****** to her then w/e. but if he was an a****** why she mourning him?
i was in this exact situation w a girl i used to know and she basically was sympathizing with his family and all that, but mourning him? why? if he was so good to her why did the relationship end? it’s just a complex discussion and you should be there for her but once she appears over it/if a lot of time passes y’all should discuss this. she deserves a shoulder to cry on and empathy but it should be mined a little bit imo. luckily my girl has no exes so ill never have to deal with this bs
