yeah you're some type of space explorer but I believe it's not always that dark, idk I never played it but it looks good and combat seems to be very smooth and has a cool minimap with gps

I’ve never played Assassins Creed before which is surprising

I know the basic conflict of the story which is the battle between the Assassins and the Templars which are secret societies that have existed throughout history and played roles in major historical events and time periods

I tried to play the first one recently but it felt really rough

Odyssey or Origins

AC you will play for a bit and think it's good then realise it's just a boring story with repetitive missions that you will never end up completing it. Felt like that for every one that I played

S***s great but I gave up. Difficult

nothing post-origins imo

ezio trilogy & black flag are essentially peak of the franchise
i've heard 3 and unity are pretty fun as well
