I remember I Dont Mind was a pretty big song when it came out. I was surprised he didn't put it on the H2L maybe as a deluxe or something.
I just listened to only a few seconds. So this song is supposedly on the new album? Sounds dope so far didnt wanna listen to the whole thing
Yeah, it is. He shared it on IG live last year when he first teased a Confessions 2. That was the snippet that caught everybody's attention. He played the first verse, chorus, and then part of the 2nd before he cut it off. Then he sang it at a virtual verizon charity concert earlier this summer. He said "This next song is called Believe, it's on my upcoming album." Then sang the chorus 2 or 3 times.
Man 8701 is so good, getting better with every listen
Gave only the first two tracks on Confessions a listen on Friday night, but I was in a bad mood smh. Imma listen to that maybe tomorrow
Man will this dude drop the album title/tracklist/cover or somethin already..

I heard they just had the baby over the weekend, 2 months early I think. Usher was also in a wheelchair on his IG last week. Maybe some type of surgery? Idk.

U Remind Me, How Do I Say, U Don't Have To Call, and Twork It Out
Why can't black artists just have something for themselves? This ranking was okay, I didn't agree or disagree, but the way they felt the need to make it about Justin Timberlake when it was a black man's masterpiece of an album (that sold twice as much by the way) doesn't sit right with me. They were supposed to talk about each album on it's own, not compare it to other artist's albums, non-diamond albums anyway.

I'm glad Prince's Purple Rain is #1 tho
No Limit hit 200 mil views on Youtube. And LITC has 100 M streams on Spotify now.
Idk if I shared this yet. AGT Finale a couple weeks back. The My Way choreo
And I took all that stuff in the op out cuz I got tired of seeing it lol
It's growing
Second?
So dope that Confessions went diamond. It's just so rare to have an album go diamond in general it really is an amazing accomplishment for any artist. R. Kelly didnt even have anything to go diamond man

I feel like that put him on another level, but raised the standard a little bit too high. Cuz now people keep wanting him to top it which is unlikely to happen.
But I do think one of the most impressive things about his success, is that it felt genuine. Like people genuinely love his music. It was never forced.
I wonder how his next album is gonna do. JD hopes it'll pop off and "bring back R&B" like the last time they did a album together (Confessions) but now the expectations are so high.
Man I just watched the Nice and Slow video on AM. I haven't watched that in years lol I miss how the videos use to have actual stories and all them dynamic camera angles lmao.

I guess I'll have high hope's until proven otherwise. I wish he would show the cover already though.

Me too. He's been teasing it for forever. It's almost annoying now lol
When you think about it, Usher is a very special performer. Most people are either "dancers who can sing" (MJ, Janet, Chris Brown, J Lo, Ciara) or "singers who can dance" (Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake) but it's rare to find someone who's equally a professional singer AND a professional dancer. And he's one of the best at both.
I might slide MJ into the both category but his dancing was so strong idk if his vocals are truly equal.

Nah you just gotta listen to 11 year old Mike on the Ed Sullivan show. He had the voice
