Under 25 is too early a cutoff. Under 20 maybe. His last US Top 10 hit was Scream in 2012. I think the Super Bowl audience trends a little older than some other live sporting events, so TV execs probably don't care anyway.

i swear, i feel gaslit reading these posts. i remember being 4 years old in ‘04 and a lot of my first conscious memories were hearing this man’s music everywhere

flash forward to my HS prom in 2018 when Yeah! played and the whole room was turned up as f***, screaming the lyrics. even as an adult, i rarely ever go out to bars or clubs but i have heard Usher’s s*** being played on multiple occasions

and like i said earlier itt, this dude has been going viral on social media consistently throughout the past year. so this whole Gen Z doesn’t know Usher bullshit that they’re trying to argue is straight f***ing CAP 🧢

Legendary hits, it’s sad he fumbled his legacy but maybe this will help restore it

Well maybe his time to perform has passed? Maybe he would have been a hot act when his music was hot and fresh in 94’ but in 2024? Come on bro stop it.

He can still perform well and most Super Bowl performances are legacy acts anyway

Why is a bunch of reactions on social media on some “who?” s*** if he’s so relevant in that space?

just because they were old enough doesn’t mean they care

you think think his 2012 hits are gonna make that much of a difference whether people tune in or not?

ushers main base is primarily 25-40

completely disregards those older and younger

That’s true I’m just saying it’ll be hard to keep people invested in his performance
