There’s an A&R manager somewhere setting up all these rappers up for failure on tours
Do you think labels are purposefully encouraging the downfall of hip-hop?
56 shows * 19k per show = >1M tickets
Weeknd has sold over 1M tickets already just from reported numbers
That’s not including the shows he’s done in Europe so far that haven’t been reported
Stadium tours are significantly worse for fans.
On the Starboy tour The Weeknd went to 45 different cities
On this new stadium tour he stopped at…18
You’re f***ed if you don’t live in a giant city

I honestly think this is a bad idea given Travis’ fan demographic
Theyre all young fans who like to rage and jump around in general admission, there’s nothing appealing about standing in a tight row of seats watching him sing badly. The whole selling point of a Travis concert is jumping around
Once GA sells out, you’ll see them have a hard time selling seat tickets

Like that's literally the point of the stadium tour lol giant venue that seats a ton of people from all over
I think for Metallica they had a stadium tour recently and they'd do 2-3 nights at most of their stops to accommodate they amount of fans they have across the country. I believe it was a sold out tour too.
Fans who wanna go to a show at a stadium for an artist they really like will travel for it

Yeah and it’s still worse. Having to travel and pay for a hotel plus tickets instead of the artist just playing where you live

i personally think so
not labels but billboard

Why would I include Europe ins comparison when Drake’s not touring Europe yet. The point was that an arena tour can sell just as many tickets as a stadium one
Curious to see what the people that think Drake couldn’t do a stadium tour think about this one

Because your claim was “Drakes arena tour lowkey outsold Weeknds” when that’s just not true
He crossed 1M in NA alone anyway

I think there con’s and pros for both stadiums and smaller venues when it comes to fans.. that weeknd tour was fun but short I agree

We won’t get attendance numbers until after the tour is over but Drake’s North American arena tour will slightly outsell The Weeknd’s North American leg of his tour when it’s all said and done I believe.
Its gonna be Travis & Ye/WTT2-Utopia Tour. Ye will never admit it,but he needs the money. Would be kinda surprised if Ye doesn't join him
Travis is trying to recover his public image rn why tf would he tour with the Chernobyl of rap
I hope he pulls it off tho no cap because it will get pop Stans to shut up about hip hop artists being “local”
Travis has a better discography so it makes sense
Travis could make late registration but ye could never make birds in the trap
That’s bait
