Nigga prolly thought he had one with Pt. 2
(OP Calls His Bluff)
Still can’t believe we let Pt. 2 slide just because we think he’s cute
Man went back to The Real Uzi and Count Dem Rollz for 1/3 of the album Theres just as much melodic uzi as there is hard Uzi on ea
wish uzi spit as hard as he did on Count Dem Rollz on EA
one of my favorite uzi tracks he goes so hard
Ppl wouldn’t even remember it if it didn’t get popular just like the rest of 1.5 if we’re being honest
1.5 super underrated smh

Yeah the point of the song was a sequel to the original
Yeah the point of the song was a sequel to the original
I think I remember him saying it was going to be bigger
I didn’t like EA at first but I think what it was meant to be went over a lot of ppl’s heads
Well yeah. People expected Uzi to sound like he did in 2016. Since Uzi and Carti went on hiatus, fans of that sound (ATL new wave) haven’t really had any great, recognized projects to carry on that sound. I think so many of the Uzi fans who were longing for that 2016 sound thought EA was going to deliver, but Uzi has grown and changed as an artist.
He gave the fans what they wanted with that deluxe, but EA itself was not expected. Uzi has always been about flow, but now he cares a lil more about bars, and I’ve noticed that his focus in flow is now rhythm instead of melody.
One last point I want to make tho, the mixing also played a large role in this. EA has the quietest adlibs of any Uzi album, least reverb and delay on the vocals too. Sort of gives it a rawer sound, even though it also means becoming less atmospheric.

You’re spot on, I noticed the adlibs too. They’re used in weird ass times as well
Hasn't made a good song since xo your life now he's gonna drop a better one? I'll believe it when I see it
