The cons are that it's a lot more expensive than the Deck and the battery life seems much shorter. But the form factor, screen, and performance seem amazing. Also, apparently Steam OS compatible

Example - Doom runs on Ultra locked 60 on Deck, the new 6800u handhelds can’t do that

Comparing this to previous expensive handheld PC's before the Steam Deck is night and day. S***, compare this to the previous iteration and it's a pretty large step forward.

I think we're going to see much more competitive units coming from companies going forward. Especially when SteamOS 3.0 is officially released. Some companies even taking a totally different approach that can work such as the Logitech G Cloud.

The form factor is especially enticing and I hope Valve takes some notes if they decide to do another iteration. All I'm saying is that there's a much higher standard now than before when we had absolute garbage like the GPD Win 2 and Smach Z (which no one even remembers because of how much of a scam it was)
