Obviously the steam os is amazing but I've been waiting for a more powerful handheld that won't cost a lot
With that being said I just set up Yuzu on my Deck and I'm very impressed with how BOTW runs
Hopefully TOTK runs the same because I don't wanna play it on my Switch with 360p
Y'all hear about the new ASUS ROG Ally? Apparently it's gonna cost similar to what SD costs but will be twice as powerful if not more
My Deck is going on a long vacation if that's true
$700 compared to $400 🥱🥱

512gb same price as 512gb SD, and there's probably going to be a cheaper version with a slightly worse cpu
For what you're getting it's 100% worth the price imo lol

It looks pretty cool but not a fan of using windows with a***og sticks. Got dual boot windows running in my deck and those touchpads are a godsend.
Also need to see what that battery life like since you can go beyond 15w

Definitely looks like a competitive entry but it being Windows-based sucks
Excited to see how it goes in real-time tho
Could be good who knows

SteamOS is far too good for me to even consider this
I put a 1tb partition on my internal for Windows and it’s terrible

ahh i see they upgraded to the vr version
“Steam Deck is a console, Ally is a PC with a controller”
From Linus new video. Exactly why I’m not interested
It’s more powerful sure but unless Valve natively put SteamOS on there, it’s a hard pass
im good
love my sd (typing from it now) but this s*** ugly af
anyone dual boot and if so whats your experience
It’s pretty great so far i keep an a2 sd card with windows 11 on it for Destiny and gamepass s***
Make sure you get this github.com/ayufan/steam-deck-tools
