Really considering picking one of these up just to play Binding of Isaac on a portable. Maybe just a Retroid or something and play the Vita version.
I know if I have one I won't read or bike as much though. Gaming is such a time sink
You might as well just get a switch lite at that point if you only playing Issac

Think I'd rather be in the Android emu or Linux ecosystem than Nintendo. They seem a lot less oppressive as far as sideloading goes

If you actually playing other s*** and sideloading for sure but if only you only playing Issac I don’t see the point of wasting $150+ shipping in the RP3+ case or $400 for a SD. The vita version also just outdated and ass too all things considered
Thats just my viewpoint though considering I own all of them.
Hell if you already own a laptop and don’t care bout portability, issac runs on toasters

I've played it on a laptop for years. Even an iPad with a 360 controller. I'm just not much of a gamer in general tbh. Not since I had a portable like a Gameboy or a PSP which is why retro emu would be handy.
Didn't realize Switch Lites were comparable price points. Seems like $230-250 to just grab one and Isaac. Prob gonna just not do it and use my time/money more wisely. Great game though.
Deathloop crashed my s*** so hard everything got corrupt and factory install wouldn’t even fix it. I did a reimg and everything been fine since
Don’t know how that game is verified
Its because i was low on storage (despite me deleting things).
Factory reset and downloaded my main game, all is well

F***ing woat game
okay so i’m probably gonna get one pretty soon and i’m wondering do y’all put any screen protectors on it ? and same with a case is there a good case for it ?
also gonna get the cheapest one so what’s the best SD card seen there’s a 1TB one but not sure how it would be with it

I got the Amazon basics 1tb
Make sure it’s A2 rated too
Not needed a screen protector.
Look into Emudeck, decky & shader cache tools (64gb will fill mad fast with shader cache)
SSD swap is really easy to do even with no experience with that stuff

i’d probably skip out on the ssd swap
i’m way too scared i’d mess something up
do you not have a case ? i’ve seen the killswitch one which seems very good
and ye i’ve never put screen protectors on anything just felt like it might’ve been a safe idea

No case, it comes with a carrying case which is enough for me
The SSD swap id definitely recommend honestly, putting 2tb in mine with a 1tb micro sd is a game changer
also would y’all say just to cop the actual valve dock or a 3rd party
A lesson to be learned from the switch. Never go third party with docks imo
i’ve really got dual boot running on a 64gb model no issues. 2 sd cards holding my games

Really? Lol
I use a Jsaux and it's fine

Switch 3rd party docks got me paranoid because there was a period a lot of peoples switches started bricking using them I’m just skeptical of third party anything almost now 😭

im running ghost spectre so its a lightweight build / updates disabled. everything that can is being stored on my sd card. i’m straight
Diablo 4 on the Deck is very solid. Was kinda a pain in the ass to set up though. think I did it the hard way
