To be honest if you're interpreting veganism simply as a diet than you have been badly misguided. Veganism for all intents and purposes is a political stance in itself, it's a call for societal change in how we treat other animals. Simply calling vegans cringe is a lazy critique of veganism.
I don’t support the s*** that they get away with treating animals in slaughter houses, but there’s a variety of issues that goes with that. First is the scum people that they hire that treat the animals ruthlessly as a way of blowing off steam.
Honestly if I knew how to hunt and butcher myself I would be on that wave
i'm not bout to engage in human trafficking just because it will always happen
Not even remotely the same but go ahead

If u buy it u literally support it.
That’s a weird spend on. Where else am I going to get my meat
I thought enthusiastic vegans were cringe but the people who hate them are arguably worse

This is from 2019 in the UK so pre-covid.
According to the research by Nielson, in 2019, beef sales declined by 4 percent and pork sales declined by 6.4 percent. Sales of vegan and veggie meat products, however, saw the biggest growth rate, rising 18 percent to £405 million.
It's already happening bruv. Dairy is getting clapped even harder.
Sales went down, but what about production?
Sales went down, but what about production?
Down as well. Waste is the worst thing to an exploitative capitalist. Margins are narrow

Nowhere.
Sales went down, but what about production?
they are not going to kill animals just for the sake of it
sooner or later, the less meat people eat, production will go down heavily. for the companies its all about making money
Lol the one thing I know I could give up if I became vegan is cheese
You mean to tell me you like that fart inducing rubbery garbage?

And what makes vegans weird for taking your own feelings on the animal exploitation industry to its natural conclusion?

It’s the same argument . Both have moral implications that aren’t justified just bc they will both always happen
Vegans are superior.
Standing mostly alone in a choice you make 3 times a day is big d*** energy
