With the Spider-Man release date out now there is a way I still see Sony incorporating this long drawn out Knull saga into those films without rushing into it. Going back to No Way Home, we know a piece of the Venom symbiote is left in the MCU. For arguments' sake, lets say during the events/third act of Doomsday Peter bonds with the leftover symbiote. That carries over into Spider-Man 4 and that's his suit for that movie but it mainly stays street level-ish depending on Doomsday. We potentially have another Knull post credit scene there. Come Secret Wars, with all the incursions and Battleworld of it all Eddie finds himself there. This is where him and Spidey finally meet. This could also be where Eddie and Venom reunite, via the symbiote transferring back to Eddie there, finally giving him the Spider logo. Venom is involved in the final fight with the rest of the heroes, also paying off a couple of lines in this movie. Spider-Man 5 would happen on a new earth where I am going to hopefully assume the SSU and MCU merge really just to keep the Kraven and Venom castings. Spider-Man 5 would then be a King in Black movie with Knull going up against Spider-Man and Venom. Making that the final send off for the Venom character and ending the Knull story

I f\*\*\* with this so heavy. Giving Knull the Thanos treatment would do wonders. Obviously would be difficult trying to sell Knull as this overarching threat while Doom is the current big bad, especially the way that Silver Surfer is instrumental to both story lines. I’m extremely curious and excited to see how it all plays out

Also, on a complete sidenote. People extremely caught up on how Knull looks as if Thanos didn’t look like this when he first appeared

I think it's safe to say we're in a comic book movie decline. So much s*** gets pumped out and at least 60 percent of it is complete garbage while 90 percent is forgettable. What great comic book movie have we gotten in the past 5 years? Across the spiderverse and that's it. Time to wrap it up on this genre

Bruh you talking about the series which had Aunt May finding out Peter's secret in the first movie
Peter having his identity exposed to the world in the second movie
Adapting One More Day and (sort of) Death in The Family with no build up in the third movie

There's no such thing as "without rushing it" when it comes to MCU Spider-Man. I wouldn't be surprised if by SM5 we gon have Miles with a complete character arc already and you here dreaming about a Symbiote storyline being dragged on for 4 movies? lol

Hey lil bro, Endgame came out in 2019

    The Batman 2022

Don’t let Sonys incompetence make you believe that it’s impossible to make a good comic book movie

It’s not the genre that’s the problem…it’s the characters…trying to make good movies about Spider-Man villains without Spider-Man is a steep hill to climb

    Dreaming? No

    Theorizing? Yea

Doing the Knull story in between 2 giant Avengers movies that are more or less another two parter is stupid

So is doing a street level Kingpin story Especially if Doomsday ends with a creation of Battleworld. I'd say Knull makes more sense than that.

i thought the interweaving of (almost) all of the different threads gave it a sense of impeding doom and i wasnt expecting it tbh the other two movies were just carried by veddie so in a way they stepped it up (but imo the bickering from the 2nd movie is the best part of the trilogy still) what was up with the us propaganda tho

Is this the worst cut film in the series?

It’s so jarring and noticeable. It feels like most of the movie is sequenced like a bad commercial advertisement.
