I think it's obvious that Ye has the ability to be hyperbolic and granted some times has not looked well. As I do not apricate the antics as of lately I do believe this is one of the things he has said are not as "unhinged" and as everyone else would like to claim.

That being said, he married into one of the wealthiest families in the world. When marrying into them he also made them more money. It's not far fetched at all to believe that the Kardashian side of the family would like to keep that money, power, and influence. The entertainment industry is built off of family blood and ties (no amount of American propaganda can convince be that I too can be just like them with hard work and determination!) That doesn't just mean the front facing brand image people but that also means the people running it behind scenes. It is not a stretch to believe that Kardashians would do anything they can to remain in a very powerful cultural position. So yeah, surrounding Kanye's children with family's that indoctrinate their own children which inadvertently indoctrinate his kids is not far stretched at all.
