    I call that the "j dilla curve"; an artist becomes more highly rated depending on how young, and unintended, they died.

    Peep was OK, but definately not artist of the decade. I dont even think he had a #1. Lil Nas X is more of a candidate then peep, at least he revitalized a whole ass genre

    I hate to burst your bubble bro but dilla is kinda overrated. Donuts gets way too much credit for what it is, and while his flips are exquisite hes human and as such has had his fair share of clunkers

    P4K gave donuts like a mid 7 I think in their initial review

    Years later they do a reissue review and give it a 10

    good thing donuts isn't his only project. also it's probably the best instrumental album OAT, next to endtroducing.
