I was actually talking about this with my wife yesterday, like who could they send to make me fold
There are a few types I would let my guard down for, but breaking down into tears?
Nah f*** em
This show is not the right type of show for 1 episode a week. It needs a all episodes released at once type.

Nah I like having something to look forward to week after week
My gosh, its possible to grasp that and not think it was good lool
I said these thingS*, plural. These people don't gaf about character nuance, detail, layers. They just want plot twists, shootings and important characters getting killed

You generalise too much and it comes off as pretentious. There are intelligent people with different tastes.

Yeah fair! There will always be different opinions. I feel like for a lot people they wont be looking forward to waiting 1 week for those types of episodes. But the core story is interesting enough to watch a couple episodes back to back

Yeah I do think people late to the party who get to binge will def enjoy it
Really, so anyone who doesnt like it doesnt appreicate art? It sounds like you have a fundamental misunderstanding of art. You somehow think its objective
I literally said people who HATED these... can you even read bro
And is not a black & white thing, there's people who can appreciate art yet still prefer "entertainment" over art

Im not generalizing, im talking specifically about the people who hate this show because they think it's "slow" or that "nothing happens"
It was the opposite of generalizing, I was pretty specific with the demographic

I got stoned for saying this, you right tho
Maybe not the whole thing but with the slow pace it has being released in 2 or 3 packs would def give a lot more to talk about

it's a great show
therefore week to week is how it should be done
love anticipating and theorizing with the boys week to week over this show

For people that love the show it makes sense. And defo I get that it makes it better. I just think this show is even slower than most slow shows so maybe for lots of people having episodes released at once would work.
I think Andor worked really well where they released episodes in batches of 3 each week, and the 3 episodes covered a story arc. This was helpful for those who felt Andor was too slow (I dont think it was slow though but it was a nice way of watching it, and enhaced the experience imo). It was the best of both worlds

It's all about mystery and suspense and anticipation.
It's the perfect show to release on a weekly basis.

This episode it was most noticeable could be cause I watched after game awards and wanted to catch up . The characters walk slow and do everything slow even if at times it feels like you know what’s next . Then knowing there is only 2-3 hours before a 2 year wait

It's a decision that might net more engagement. It's not a decision which compliments the art better. When given a choice, I like when artists choose the thing that compliments the art over the thing which might be more strategically successful for the show's popularity.
Something else that was also dope was that this episode had almost no dialouge. It was mostly Carol and Manousos talking to themselves, while the episode was carried by visual storytelling.
You see Manouso being broken down by the journey. He was pretty determined at first to make it to Carol. He was practicing his English and projecting himself well. But after his injury he loses the energy in his voice and you can hear the cracks.
And with Carol you see her being broken down by loneliness. She started off being happy that she wouldn't be turned. She was singing and enjoying herself but by the end she goes mute and just uses her speakers and becomes suicidal.
I feel like Carol wouldnt have as much of a soft spot that she has for her tbh. Just because she is very aware they are a hive mind and had no previous relation to her.
I think she would have a bit of a soft spot but not as much as she seems to show
Nah we've already seen she has a soft spot for Zosia, her not letting Diakaté smash, and she actually visited Zosia in hospital by choice. Outside thinking she's hot, she's shown she's fond Zosia. It's like the Indian mother and her son, to a degree the faces you're looking at matter.
Yeah its weird for me she would d*** her and then feel this much emotion over her coming back
I guess loneliness is crazy thing
I mean part of the reason she d***ged Zosia to begin with is because that's the face she's most familiar with and it's established early on she has an emotional connection to Zosia or the idea of Zosia, she wouldn't let Diakaté smash the one time. That's been there from the start of the story.

For sure I get it, the breakdown was just a bit much, I'm also not a very emotional person so its just a personal thing I guess
I dont think it makes the episode or that scene bad or anything, I'm honestly happy shes back, she brought more depth to the episodes tbh

The 3 episode arc actually complimented the art in the case of Andor. I agree it should compliment the art as much as we possibly can

Yeah defo shes had signs the whole show. I more meant Im surprised her character has that soft spot to this disagree since she is very aware of Zosias role in the hivemind
But maybe its the part of her thats longing for her past humanity that she is slowly losing in this situation

Even bitter, angry, depressed people need human interaction I suppose
