I dont think it makes the episode or that scene bad or anything, I'm honestly happy shes back, she brought more depth to the episodes tbh

Oblivion XSomething else that was also dope was that this episode had almost no dialouge. It was mostly Carol and Manousos talking to themselves, while the episode was carried by visual storytelling.
You see Manouso being broken down by the journey. He was pretty determined at first to make it to Carol. He was practicing his English and projecting himself well. But after his injury he loses the energy in his voice and you can hear the cracks.
And with Carol you see her being broken down by loneliness. She started off being happy that she wouldn't be turned. She was singing and enjoying herself but by the end she goes mute and just uses her speakers and becomes suicidal.
I didn't really notice the shift of her singing the songs, to the music eventually being played in speakers

Yeah I think thats the point they are making. On the other hand though the Paraguayin is quite OK so far with not interacting with them.
But hes willing to travel he whole country to reach Carol. Probably partly because he needs human connection. Lets see how he reacts to the Hive helping him in the hospital

Goes to show he shoulda prolly been less pretentious and just let them fly him to carol lmao
The episodes without them was making me lonely for Carol too lol

tippyalright you’re overdoing it a bit lol but yes this is definitely a passion project of Vince’s that he’s making on his own terms and with a huge bag after garnering the goodwill and attention of television viewers for over a decade. storytelling approach isn’t gonna be for everyone but that’s the beauty of art, it’s varied and subjective
