I remember when I first got my license the mall was the place to go. Used to have a set routine of places we’d hit the finish up at the food court to shoot the s***. Life was simpler back then
I don't remember too much of the 90's since I was born in late 1993. But I DO have distinctive memories of like 1995/1996/1997 of being a little kid wandering around in the mall.
I remember LOTS of the designs were based on MEMPHIS design. For those too young to know about this, it's basically that late 80's/early 90's design trend that took over. Most of you would associate that 'aesthetic' with the 90's. Here's an example: (This is obviously overkill)
Anyways, I remember being a little toddler in the mall seeing these colorful shapes and designs. It evokes a LOT of nostalgia in me.
^ Stuff like that was extremely comforting to see when I was young. It was very welcoming and fun. I miss those designs.
