Same bro but the receipts i'm seeing now on twitter i'm confused why people stan him so much

didn't like any of his clothes but was just happy the brother was getting credited for some success.
Anyway the real change would be if kids actually stop buying his overpriced clothes that don't even look very good

That guy is a professional tap dancer. We can’t associate the actual art of tap dancing with some form of coonery and I’m pretty sure that wasn’t his aim there. I have no idea what the other image is in reference to but it’s fascinating how easy it is to take an image and put it within a context to serve a narrative. The narrative here being that Virgil is a coon lmao I don’t know if he is. I’m just saying if you wanted to hammer that point home, you could probably do better.

Why would you have a tap dancer at a fashion show what purpose could that serve

idk Thats a question only he can answer but of all the bizarre things you could possibly see at any given show, a tap dancer wearing a shirt that reads “support black businesses” doesn’t sound all that crazy. In fact, if Virgil were white, then we’d have something to actually investigate here. It’s obvious he was making some sort of political statement. What that statement is in particular I couldn’t say.

Like even in the image with the cotton field, it’s clear he’s trying to make some sort of political statement here lmao maybe on race and perhaps how the path for those who are white has been laid straight while others carry with them a history of struggle and obstacles they must overcome. If Pyer Moss did this EXACT same thing, which I could easily see them doing, they’d be praised for it but because we’re viewing it in the context of Virgil being a coon and a fraud, it’s perceived differently lmao it’s really fascinating

I mean the least you can do is give back man. like to your own ppl. just set a precedence especially as a black man in fashion.

Virgil is the Tyler Perry of fashion, you want to respect what he's accomplished and the position he's in as a black man, but the actual product that he puts out is genuinely garbage and uninspired.

    And just like Tyler Perry...

Virgil will put on lil shows that makes his people look like buffoons for the white folk to laugh at. Damn near minstrel shows

In his defence, he did have RSVP and his Pyrex work was cool, just not worth the money.

The annoying thing about him and Samuel Ross is they both get paid racks to do literally nothing with their clothing rather than pushing the boundaries of fashion which they're supposedly heralded for

Only one who really deserves their fame is Martine Rose cus her own line is fire and she def deserves her Balenciaga role

    Pyrex was trash

    In your opinion

I always liked Champion, and the SHOWstudio exclusive he did was hard. Other than that yeah I see where you're coming from
