Damn RIP

Started the Fate/stay night remaster a week or so ago. Only about 8 hours in, but I am really enjoying it.

Coincidentally I started Witch of the Holy Night weeks ago and kinda lost interest.

Will get back to it this week or next & get to Fate/Stay Night. Good you’re enjoying Fate

I really wish I liked Mahoyo more. I'm sure I would've if I went in knowing that it's supposed to the first part in a 3 part story Really liked the music, atmosphere, presentation, and the characters, but just wanted more out of it.

I've never watched or read anything in the Fate series, so I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more. I've only seen bits of stuff over the years, but I definitely get the appeal and I'm only like a dozen hours in.

Would definitely recommend checking out the Tsukihime remake as well. Enjoyed that quite a bit. Very happy I decided to pick it up (again) after dropping the OG a few years back.

Damn so it doesn’t get better? because I want more out of it too and I’m only like 3 chapters in. The atmosphere & music is nice and I do like the characters as well. I’m just waiting for the story to kick off. It’s giving me a Chaos Head vibe regarding that, but even Chaos Head had me hooked more than this.

Hoping Tsukihime is better, if not then my streak of disappointing VNs continues after Mahoyo & The Letter. I think I do remember you dropping Tsukihime in here years ago you ended up enjoying it alot so that’s good.

It definitely has its moments, but I felt like it just kinda... ends lol. It very much feels like an early part in a larger story imo. Only reason I dropped the OG Tsukihime was due to the poorly done h scenes. The remake is a hell of a lot better and it has a big budget behind it too. It's still missing a few routes that the OG had, but it still feels like a full story.

You won't regret starting Muramasa. It's good as f***. Wish I could reread it for the first time again. I still need to get around to Kara no Shoujo. Only thing that has had me hesitant were the "pixel perfect" investigations, but I could just be overestimating how much of a pain they are lol.
