So, when I talk about MTV, let me explain something. I was hurt. BeyoncĂŠ, I was hurt because I wanted to present a video called âFadeâ and I donât expect MTV to help me. Mr. West, I donât respect you. I will let you know that BeyoncĂŠ is winning the video tonight for âFormationâ over âHotline Blingâ and âFamous.â They told me beforehand so I wouldnât run on stage. Hey, bruh, yâall ainât gotta f*** with me, but you know I got the vision and you know Iâmma gonna keep it real with you. BeyoncĂŠ, I was hurt. I went down seven years on behalf of yourâeh, nigga! Donât ... no s*** while I'm talking. I am putting my career, my life, my public well-standing at risk when I talk to yâall like this. This is a moment in the ..., bro. The vibes is back. The vibes is back. Motherfuckers might feel a way about this tonight. BeyoncĂŠ, I was hurt because I heard that you said you wouldnât perform unless you won Video of the Year over me and over âHotline Bling.â In my opinionânow, donât go trying to diss BeyoncĂŠ. She is great. Taylor Swift is great. We are all great people. We are all equal.
But sometimes, we be playing the politics too much and forget who we are just to win. F*** winning. F*** looking cool. F*** looking cool. F*** being cool. F*** all that, bruh! Iâve been sitting here to give yâall my truth even at the risk of my own life. Even at the risk of my own success, my own career. Iâve been sitting here to give yâall the truth. Jay Z, call me, bruh. You still ainât calling me. Jay Z, call me. Aye, bruh, I know you got killers. Please donât send them at my head. Just call me. Talk to me like a man. Iâm not trying to be the man. I just am a man, the same as anybody here. I ainât above, below none of yâall. We all equal. We all equal. This is the vibes, bro. This is the future. This is the way of thinking to make America great again. Ha! You didnât like that! Guess what? Yâall need the vibes. I was hurt. Feelings matter, bro. The way motherfuckers put money up so high, popularity, radio spins. Feelings matter, bro. Feelings matter, bro.
Itâs a new world, Hillary Clinton, itâs a new world. Feelings matter. Because guess what? Everybody in middle America felt a way and they showed you how they felt. Feelings matter, bro. Itâs a new world. Itâs a new world, Barack. Itâs a new world, Jay Z. Hey, donât send killers at my head, bro. This ainât the Malcolm X movie. We growing from that moment. Let âYe be âYe. And wait a second. Do yâall agree with that? Let âYe be âYe. Wait a second. I ainât hear enough screams on that. Let âYe be âYe.
People I'm not saying this out of my own well-being because it wouldnât be smart out of my own well-being to say things like this. Radio, I done talked to you a bunch of motherfucking times. Yâall motherfuckers is behind the times. Because guess what, the Saint Pablo tour is the most relevant s*** happening. The Saint Pablo tour is more relevant than radio and if yâall keep following old models, your ass is going to be Hillary Clinton. You might not like it, but they gotta hear it. I ainât here to massage you with a fake truth, telling you that Hillary gonâ win over and over and over and then you wake up and you still canât believe it! You know why? Because you was lied to by Google. You was lied to by Mark Zuckerberg.
Mark Zuckerberg, you wanna call me now? Do I got the vision, Mark Zuckerberg? Was you wrong? When I said I was $53 million in debt and you didnât call me, was you wrong? You ate dinner, you asked my friend Anthony Schiller to have dinner with me. I told you about Donda. You said you would help and you didnât. Then you went to look for aliens. Me and Kid Cudi are aliens right here, bro. The vibes is back. Talking to DJ Take it all the way back to the beginning. Shia LaBeouf, Kid Cudi feels a way. Give him a call.
Q-Tip, I love you, bro. Donât tell me how to be me, though. I love you. The Tribe album is dope. I love you. Donât tell me how to be me, though. Iâve been me. I am me. Thereâs a Richard Pryor interview that you can watch about people coming into power and not changing everything and just becoming a part of the power. Thatâs happened with musicians because theyâre scared. Iâm not scared. Iâm here to change things. I am here to change things. And things won't change until people admit their own falsehoods. I got the visions, bro. Thatâs what Iâve been blessed with. My vision. Iâm not always going to say things the perfect way, the right way. But Iâm going to say how I feel. Right now, press get ready to write your passive-aggressive, LeBron James, racist comments. Season 4, racist comments. Get ready to have a field day, press. Get ready, get ready. Because the showâs over."
Reading this it isnt that bad
Not worth getting admitted to hospital over at least
this video makes it look fun and cool
So they really didnt perform?
I loved Ye. It was my favourite out of the Wyoming sessions. It was just so honest and real. I think it made people a bit uncomfortable and thats why they didnt really like it. I def donât replay it a lot though for that reason, but its one of the best memories ive ever had listening to an album
Itâs his most explicitly personal album by far so I can see why unless youâre a big Kanyehead it might not interest you. But beyond that I really just love the sound he had going, the weird psychedelia, idk how to describe it other than Wyoming vibe he was on.
I think itâs my favorite Wyoming session project too

Ya I get why people donât get it. Itâs def his most personal album. But man it legit made me cry the first time I heard it. It really opened my mind to how raw and personal you have to dig to make art sometimes. And youâre right it sounds like the colour blue and crisp with psychedelia. Itâs very hard to describe youre right
V2 just V1 with everybody and dont die added
And a new version of carnival lol
You have to TRY to do less than your average rolling loud performer
Let me hit it raw like f*** the outcome

Its the other way round from everything I've seen, the big Yeheads at the time were used to massive albums with big features that had big fluffy concepts, it ditched the platitudes and delivered something real and raw and intimate, which is a style he's since left behind
more people have grown to appreciate it more over time but at the time the biggest haters were Ye's biggest fans
