holy f*** that rolling loud crowd looks so squished
Bro…I just got back from the event. It was super squished. Every 5 minutes or so someone from the front would try and make their way out, some crying from exhaustion.
A crowd of people also climbed the side structure. I don’t know if that made it to the stream. But yeah there was barely space to breathe. Had a blast tho even if it was the same ol’ thing we’ve been watching online. The live energy made it seem new tbh.

Thats awesome man! You should give us more details about it!! Wild it was squished like that and I couldnt see anybody climbing anything on the stream
Reading this it isnt that bad
Not worth getting admitted to hospital over at least
in hindsight this kind of rant now would just be a regular thing, but it was the first time he was talking about being killed for what he stands for, especially eery considering he was talking about people he is friends with, he'll say it now about Adidas or LV or whoever trying to kill him and he just sounds like Ye but it was different
the stuff about Khaled and Hov sending killers was completely unfounded and made up in his head which is what we expect from Ye now, but he didn't seem so detached from reality to this point, he was more just egotistical

In the modern era people online always hate these "train wreck" kind of shows more than the people there, at least you experienced something different and will have a fun story to tell
f*** is the point of headlining rolling loud to do another weak ass listening party? i want his head on a f***ing stake (again).
sick of just "it's ye"-ing my way through obvious bullshit. it's a whole new generation of people that don't know what the f*** a real performance looks like, and mfs continue to do these mediocre LPs where they don't perform, just wearing masks and running around thinking they're the coolest people alive and not some f***ing dweebs. this music s*** so washed.

hopefully HE gets all the feedback from his favorite fanpages

Crowd sourcing fan feedback was def Julz doing.. Don't think Ye's been as prolific with that (if at all) since giving Julz the boot

The success of the LPs is proof that the former Kanye fanbase that held him down and had respect and appreciation for his artistic output have been displaced and replaced by teenyboppers for whom the appeal of these events, whether Ye performs or not, is merely being in the same as room as him and being able to post about it. You don’t make a Yeezus or a Life of Pablo or an 808s with a fanbase like this, let alone when you respond to each and every one of their DMs. F*** it, I just sound like an old man.

Ol' folks talkin' bout "Back in my days" ?

Shame that was the case, don’t venues and festival hosts have to deal with new regulations that stop this from happening since the Travis thing

Well at least the old folks actually got to see ye perform lol
Rolling Loud isn’t about to be some listening party
You probably not even gonna hear too much Vultures stuff
It’s gonna be a mix of Ye and Ty hits
Super L

Yeah at no point was there security or really any structure in the crowd. The only time I saw staff was when they brought the crowd down from the side structure like halfway into the show.
I have been to several festivals and have never been as squished or have seen as many people crying as I did today for an hour set where they didn’t even perform.

Times change, that pre Pablo Ye is gone, even the less commercially successful Ye that appeared on ye and JIK has changed and adapted because he wants to be commercially successful, he can still innovate and have lots of people enjoy the music and listening parties as we saw with Vultures 1 and DONDA, it doesn't land for me either but I'm over getting annoyed at it anymore because it's clear he's re-invented himself for the benefit of fitting in better with the Adin Ross generation and getting better numbers
and besides that he doesn't know his songs, doesn't seem like he's in the right shape to perform, and he can't abide by a schedule, one offs like Free Larry and appearing at other artists concerts are the only way he can really perform, but he still wants the experience of the music being played live so we get these
To be a touring artist into your late 40s and older you have to be in very good shape and take care of yourself physically and mentally, which its clear Ye does neither, artists like Beyonce that continue to tour and release great albums let the art and performance do the talking and Ye has done anything but for the past few years, it's a whole lot of promises
if it doesnt drop this weekend then its not dropping next week either since it would be competing against the future album

if i died at a half assed listening party for a month old album i'd be so mad

we both sound like old men atp. for donda, it was great. this is literally just doing the bare minimum, not to mention consistently fusing the music with politics (in a general sense) every rollout. it's annoying. i just want to enjoy music, I do not wanna be apart of Ye vs. everybody every f***ing time. the real fans of good art continue to lose.
but at least they had the aux cord for this one, right?
